When visiting the Witch City, your enchanting experience should begin the moment you enter the place you plan to hang your (pointy) hat. The Warlock House beckons all those who still believe in the magic of Salem with a vacation rental where it’s Halloween every day of the year. It is a bubbling cauldron for the senses, blending the whimsical fun and festivities of Halloween with the mysteries of Salem Witchcraft.



Step into the Haunting Hallway and be greeted by the warm glow of candlelight - you are immediately immersed in all things Salem. The walls of the Warlock House are decorated with Witch City memorabilia provided by some of Salem's most prestigious attractions, museums, and shops. The Haunting Hallway begins with images of Ouija history. Did you know the Ouija board was once produced in Salem? Yes! On the same street of the Warlock House at the original Parker Brother’s factory. The memorabilia continues with television’s Bewitched, featuring everyone’s favorite sorceress — Samantha Stephens.

Follow the Haunting Hallway to the end, and enter the Spirit Parlour. Work the arts of magic and reveal your destiny. Cast a spell at the authentic Witches’ altar. The Witch’s kitchen pays homage to vintage Halloween with its ghosts, black cats, pumpkins, and Witches that fly across the moon each night. Gather at a 200-year-old dining table beneath a glowing chandelier, enjoy a harvest meal with your family, or perhaps sit for a séance to bring forth the spirits of loved ones past.



The Witch's Kitchen features dining for six, full-sized appliances: fridge, stove, dishwasher, and laundry. Countertop appliances include microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and toaster. True to the magical theme of Warlock house: skull, pumpkin and cauldron glasses, Halloween themed dishes, and so much more.



Experience the magic of the Warlock House - wave your wand, ride your broom, speak your spells, and watch Warlock House come alive. Special smart lighting creates unique moods - selectable by you! In every room of the Warlock House, the lighting can be set to fit your own magical mood. The Raven's Rest is inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe and the spectral flight of ravens—magical creatures that fly through the boundaries between this world and the next, bringing prophecy to those with ears to hear. The Raven's Rest is a gothic delight. The décor is both foreboding and enticing, enveloped in the darkest of shadows, and beckoning those who stay within to discover their power in the eerie mists of dreams.



The Raven's Rest features a queen-sized bed, armoire, bureau, and two bedside-tables with gothic lamps that cast the shadows of skulls upon the walls.

The Herbarium celebrates the Witch as healer — filled with enchanting magical plants. Herbs, both baneful and benevolent, sparkle with fairy light. Herbalism has been part of the arts of Witchcraft from time immemorial. This bewitching boudoir honors the medicine and magic of the natural world.



The Herbarium features a queen-sized bed, closet, bureau, and two bedside-tables with steampunk lamps with Edison bulbs.

We had a blast hanging out at The Warlock House. When we arrived, the spooky mood had been set and we were in stitches. Very well appointed home for those wanting a different vibe.

Unfortunately, our stay at the Warlock house was extremely disappointing. I was surprised that the apartment is in a shared/duplex style home. There's one main entrance to the buildng and then a seperate door to the Warlock apartment. Maybe I'm not familiar with these style apartments in the northeast but it wasn't at all what I thought it was going to be. We booked for 3 nights but only ended up staying 1 night. Our first night we were woken up by the upstairs residence coming in late and talking loud. The walls are very thin. Then in the middle of the night we were woken up by the same upstairs residence again by them fighting and screaming at each other. My husband and I sat up in bed horrified by the awful things we were hearing. We decided right then that we would not be staying there another night, regardless of losing our money we spent on the place. Luckily we were able to find other lodging and it didn't ruin our entire trip.Overall, the decor was okay and the location to the main area in Salem was the only positive thing I can say about this place.

Fun around every corner

We had an amazing time at the Warlock House. The place was comfortable and really leaned in to the witch asthetic. We were finding fun details throughout. It was an easy walk to all of the museums, shops, and food. The water was close on all sides so we could have nice morning walks as well. Overall an amazing location and rental!

There are not enough stars to give for this place!!! From the moment we stepped into the Warlock House, we could feel its magic! We had seen the pictures online, but they did not fully capture how truly special and unique this property is. Every room has been carefully designed and decorated to capture the spirit of Salem. Each bedroom has a different feel. My favorite was the Herbarium room. From the plants to the fairy lights and light green decor, it was truly a calming and magical room. The mattress was very comfortable. The Pumpkin Patch room is perfect for children with its fun Halloween decor and the Raven’s nest is a spooky but fun room to stay in. The kitchen has Halloween dishes, pumpkin & cauldron mugs & skull glasses. It has high end appliances to make your stay comfortable. The living room has a haunted feel too. Throughout the apartment the decorations were spot on for the vibe of the house. Every detail was chosen carefully and well. My favorite aspect of the house was the lighting. Each room had different light controls that you could use to enhance the mood from regular white lights to blood red to herbal greens to spooky purples & blues to cheerful oranges & yellows. I spent 1 night happily playing with the lights!!! The host was very helpful and answered my questions very quickly too. Staying here was definitely a highlight of my trip. I would highly recommend it! I hope to stay there again!

The place is as pictured and the lighting effects really make it better in person! Very responsive host, and had no issues. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought the cleaning price was high for still having to do some cleaning yourself, and I wish there was a fan of some kind for airflow in the bedrooms as well as some additional mirrors for getting ready - there is only the one in the bathroom, which is small and hard to share.

This house is set back between two houses so it’s a little tricky to find. It’s within walking distance to almost everything. Once we parked, we walked everywhere. The parking instructions are a little bit contradictory- either that- or the neighbour had her own ideas of where everyone should park. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous. The flickering candle sconces and the lighting really make it. The rooms are a really nice size and every detail is thought of. What the living room lacks in comfort it makes up in ambiance. When we settled in to eat popcorn and binge some Netflix, the tv turned off every 15 minutes or so and you had to constantly try to get back to your movie. We’re googled it and couldn’t figure out why it was doing that. Some searches said that the hosts will set it up So you don’t leave the tv running all day. If this is the case, at least set it to 2 hours or so. The place is very clean and not a whole lot is expected of you when you leave- so you feel like you’re actually on vacation and not the cleaning service. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.

The Perfect Setting

My group absolutely loved staying here! The ambiance was perfect for our Summerween Road Trip! The only drawbacks we could see was the fact that there's only one bathroom and no real space in the bathroom to leave anything out, but there isn't really any room to expand anywhere so it is what it is. (There are skinny cabinets in there but I was afraid of forgetting things so I didn't use them.) Also, the parking directions were a bit confusing: it says that the parking pad has brick on the left side and you're to park on the tar on the right side, but the brick is actually on the right side... since the brick area also had handicap parking signs, we stuck with parking on the tar on the left side; we never got yelled at so we must have been in the right spot.

Great themed property and convenient

Really enjoyed our stay. The property is walking distance to all sites and Salem amenities. The property manager company certainly went “all in” with the decor! They were also generous with foods available (coffee, etc) in the apartment.We suggest stopping at a proper grocery store prior to arrival however, because there is a bit of a food desert around the house (more convenience shopping than groceries)Thank you for making us feel welcome

Great place for a girls trip!

We couldn't have found a more perfect rental, close to downtown and a short walk to the water. First impressions walking in the door was magical! Each room was like a set from a movie. Everytime you looked you found something new. The rental was cozy in a spooky way, ambiance candles throughout made it feel so relaxing. The neighbors were friendly, and easy parking. This place should be your next vacation destination.

Warlock house April 2025

We booked the warlock house for a destination bachelorette and it was amazing. We loved the theatrical features that set it just above the rest. Would definitely come back again. The attention to detail was top tier. Some notes: the parking instructions were a bit unclear and are meant to be understood as if you are backing into the driveway. There are minimal comfortable seats in the common areas and not enough seats for the 6 people the house is supposed to accommodate. This seems like a popular spot for girls trips so some investment in mirrors and full length mirrors would be appreciated in the future. Some kind of fan for at least the bathroom would have been nice due to the amount of people needing to shower and no vent fan. Alexa was also not functioning so we missed out on some interactive features. Despite this we still had a great trip. The space was very clean and cute. We had a great time and were able to walk most places.

We had such a great time staying at the Warlock House! It was clean, comfortable, presentable, and provided exactly what we needed for our visit. Within walking distance from most of Salem’s most popular location.

Great for a spooky Salem Mass stay

We really enjoyed our time at the Warlock house. The inside of the house was clean and comfortable. The theming/decor of the house was excellent down to the kitchen dishes ! Our only critique were a number of nails that had popped up from the flooring boards and caught one of my kids feet causing a cut. So best to wear slippers to protect your feet in the house. Also there was rubbish in the backyard but after contacting the managers they cleaned it up promptly (and informed us the backyard patio was not Open yet although this was something we were advised). I would say this is really an ideal location for anyone staying in Salem. It was a lovely walk into town about ten minutes. I wish the property team good luck in continued success.

Loved our stay

We really enjoyed our first stay in Salem mostly due to staying at the Warlock House. The details in the decor went way over and above our expectations. The time and care that was put into decorating, lighting, and ambiance were appreciated. Parking was easy and in better weather we would’ve walked to more places. The facilities were perfect for our family. We had zero problems to report to the management. Would recommend this and would stay here again ourselves.

My god daughter and I wanted to go all in for the Salem Witch experience and this creatively crafted Vrbo was utterly enchanting. There wasn’t a book or cranny in this house that wasn’t sprinkled with magic. My expectations were exceeded. Location was perfect. We walked to everything.

Perfect stay

We had such a good time for my sister's bachelorette. Such a cute place with themed rooms and lighting. Very convenient to downtown. I'd totally recommend this house for every trip!

16th Birthday Getaway

We had a great time for my daughter’s 16th birthday celebration. While the place (bottom level apartment) was smaller, had only one bathroom which was tricky to navigate with 3 women, the inside layout was exciting! The only other issue was trying to figure out where to park. The hosts have done well to keep with the feel of the city. We had the best time in Salem and would happily return to the Warlock House.

Nothing but great things

The warlock house is in walking distance to a lot of the places you would want to visit while in Salem. Check in was as simple as it gets, and they have great communication. And of course the rooms were themed so beautifully. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s so much better in person. My kids loved the Alexa and all the spells. Will be booking again!!!
