Wonderful week on the Cape

Great stay in Popponesset

We loved this property, close to the beach while being a quiet neighborhood. House was really well outfitted with beach gear, games, etc. Kitchen was well appointed as well. No need to lug a bunch of stuff from home. Loved the backyard and the ping pong table in the garage. Great proximity to all the attractions in Cape Cod. We highly recommend this property and would definitely return.

Fabulous Mashpee Beach Rental

Beautiful, spacious fully equipped home with a 7-8 minute walk to the beach! Was great with our family of two small children. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots/pans etc, great beach towels, outdoor seating, new washer/dryer right next to the kitchen, everything to make for a fun relaxing week!😊

Perfect location!

Perfect location for family and friends. This is our second year at the home. Easy for kids and adults to run to the Marketplace, fish in the pond and go to the beach. The house is beautiful with a deck and second floor balcony to relax with coffee or a drink at night. We loved our stay again this year!

Amazing time!

This house felt like home. Our toddler had a blast hanging out in the back yard, going to the beach and the village market. House had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again.

Great Cape Escape

This house was beautiful and offered a convenient location to beach, marketplace, and the “Spit”. The house was stocked with beach chairs, a beach buggy, toys, and games for the kids. We hope to return next year!

A Cape Cod Independence Day

Our stay made for the perfect July 4th week down the cape - something my teen boys were very excited about! The booking and check-in process were seamless. The property manager responds to inquiries quickly. Highly recommend. Great location and hard to find access to such a nice private beach/community with a rental. Memories are sure to be made.

Beautiful Poppy Home

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The home gave us perfect spaces for adults and teens and had lots of indoor and outdoor games we could play as a family. We love the close proximity to the beach and to the marketplace as well. Only wish is that soaps and paper products were provided. Otherwise everything was taken care of.

Really good beach house

The house is located in a private community and is on a dead end street, so there is only traffic from neighbors. It is modern, clean and well organized. There is a path leading to the beach that is very scenic. The back porch is a wonderful place to sit and visit. The kitchen is well equipped. The TV room has its own bathroom and can be closed off, so not to disturb others in the living room. This is a very comfortable house.

Quick family trip to the Cape!

The property came exactly as pictured in the listing. You are quite literally a few minute stroll to the beach and this rental property comes nicely equipped with everything you need to enjoy your time (boogie boards, chairs, fishing/sports equipment, beach towels, beach buggy). We especially enjoyed the deck and backyard fire pit! The only negative and something to be aware of is the lack of a downstairs bedroom for older guests or guests with disabilities. The stairs proved challenging for the grand parents.

Live out of your suitcase in 2 teeny bedrooms

This was a nice home in many respects, new construction, location. However, when renting a four bedroom home to accommodate eight family members the expectation should not be that four of those people would need to live out of their suitcases. Property manager has since updated the description since our stay to advise no closets. Again, be prepared to live out of suitcases in 2 rooms while paying $800+ per night. Also - Master BR does not have privacy window coverings - just sheers.

This renter was one of the first renters of this new home. We had not been made aware of any issue until after their tenancy. Once the problem was brought to our attention, we updated the website and informed the homeowners who immediately purchased a hanging rack system for each of the twin bedrooms. In addition, this is first time we are hearing about the lack of privacy shades in the master bedroom but we will also let the homeowners know as well. Excellent location with lots of room for families

The property is located a short walk from a private beach. The path to the beach runs along a beautiful pond. The house has an excellent layout for families, with plenty of common area and private space. The unit has dual zone AC which kept bedrooms very comfortable. The property manager lives next door and is quick to respond via message. There were several small factors that prompted this 4 star rating: 1). The garage (which is a main entry point) had a strong foul smell that traveled to adjacent parts of the house in the heat. 2). The kitchen cabinets were unorganized to the point of clutter. Storage containers, plates, various cups, and utensils were plentiful, but were cluttered about in cabinets and drawers. 3). We found several loaves of moldy bread in cabinets along with a number of very expired dry items (i.e. oils, spices).

Thank you Jineane, In regards to some comments. (1)The placement of all cooking equipment and storage containers only gets worse after each rental. The owner maintains the home and everything is placed neatley at the start of each season. (2) It's true that we own and had been staying at our property during your rental, (25 Menemsha) however, we don't live at that location but own another home nearby. (3) We ask the tenants to remove and dispose of all items in the fridge and cabinets prior to their departure, a loaf of bread must have been left up high and out of sight by the cleaners, The garage can smell when trash is left there and it leaks onto the floor, Clambakes etc. Thank You, Paul Thurston Residential Real Estate Services

An Amazing Home

We had a wonderful vacation in Popponesset due to this lovely home. We shared the house with another family and found ample room for us each to have our own space. The best part is that there is two living rooms so the kids felt like they had their separate space. Not only is the home great, but it is a quick 3 minute walk to the beach and short walk to the Poppy Market Place. The house was very clean and the owner was fantastic and responsive.
