The cabin is very nicely decorated and was very clean upon check in. Maybe the cleanest vrbo I have ever seen, especially the dishes and kitchen was immaculate.
Super clean, beautiful decor, loved the fenced yard for dogs (very reasonable dog fee) and a most friendly owner. Wifi worked great and you can buy a nice bundle of wood from the owner for a few dollars. We enjoyed our stay.

Location is ideal. The house was very comfortable (beds and couch).
The host was very responsive.
I’m am happy with the location of the property. It was nice and quiet with a nice view of the River and the mountains. I caught some nice fish as well………Thanks, Joe H
The property was described as “on the Trinity River “. It is not. About a 10-15 minute walk on a trail to the river. No view of the river either

Response from VrboOwner on Jun 21, 2026
The walking trail to the River takes less than 5 minutes (3.5 min from property gate to waters edge). While not 'on the River bank' itself, the river is approximately 600' away, Caseys Cabin is in the River valley. The River can be clearly be seen from The kitchen window, along with other windows in the house as well as the back yard. Not sure why Robert left this review as he stated he loved the property when I met him.
James, the host was very quick to respond and was easy to work with. The cabin was really cute. The decorations were fun. The cabin has been beautifully upgraded while keeping the original charm and amazing wood work. The fenced yard was great for us as we travel with our dogs. I would definitely recommend this little cabin if staying in the area. We will be back again when visiting family in the area.
This cabin is adorable and right off of 299. The yard is fully fenced so you can be confident when your fur baby goes out to stretch its legs. Communication with the owner was excellent and we would go back again. It looks like there were several hiking trail options.
This cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for me and a couple of friends fishing the Trinity River. Ideal central location with easy access (5-10 minute walk) or a short drive to some excellent fishing holes. With plenty of parking for a boat and trailer, this cabin was super clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Without question, I will book this place for my next trip!! Thanks again James!!
Really well equipped, cute, zero complaints. I’ll be back!
