Amazing house bed to the beaxh

We loved it there. We had monkeys in our trees the first we arrived. The house is gray and the beach is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Nice location

My family and I enjoyed our stay for the most part. We loved being within walking distance to the beach. The only complaints we had was there wasn't any air-conditioning, and the house is not air tight allowing for ants and other insects to get into the house.

Prefect place to enjoy and relax

The house is well laid out. Lots of privacy. Very close to the beach. 2 min walking. There are shops across the road. It is a short car drive to Puerto Viejo or to Manzanillo. We had some really perfect days at this house. Thank you.

GREAT escape!

Welcome to the jungle. This was the perfect change of pace for us. Waking up in the jungle, just steps from the beach was unreal. Very mellow over on the Caribbean coast. The only thing I would add would be AC, and more comfortable seating inside. Would ABSOLUTELY stay again! 🙌🏝️

Sloths right there and good service

We enjoyed seeing several sloths right near the house. Also during our stay, a limb fell and blocked the driveway. I texted them via WhatsApp and they immediately sent a crew to cut up the branches and clear the way. Nice touch, filtered water cooler/heater. No microwave but oven and everything else. Nice stay.

Private Jungle/Beach Bungalow

Our family of 5 stayed here for five nights over the Christmas holiday. The house is very nice and is set back in the trees. It feels very secluded and private. There is a nice path to the beach which is only a 45 second walk. The house had plenty of room for 5 of us. We did have some bugs and geckos in the house each night, but you are in the jungle, that is to be expected. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are all close by. Cahuita National Park and Manzanillo Reserve are both close by where you can spot tons of wildlife. We really enjoyed our stay here and would book this house again.

Nice Rustic Beach House

The beach access is nice. Location to ammenities was great. The house is showing signs of aging and wear. Simple things like not having any baking sheets and windows not opening were surprising. We were disappointed that the room we could not open the window has not fan. It is close to being in the jungle with HVAC, some fans would be appreciated. I was happy to have stayed, but it would not be a place I would put a priority on returning. The management company was quick to respond to questions and the check-out process was very easy.

A location well worth a road to hell!

Road 32 construction at night was really very dangerous! The house is in the maritime zone with huge trees all around, very serene and short distance to Playa UVA ( best beach of the area)! Excellent grocery store walking distance! Went to sleep to the sounds of the waves! Comfy bed and outside terrace seatings for all! Making payment was a nightmare because of a new system. Communication went no where until the day before our arrival. PayPal saved the stay! No knife sharp enough to cut our tomatoes! No cloth to dry the dishes! Overall highly recommended!

Beach living at its best!

The house is set in a gorgeous green space with access to the beach so close! Loved walking right onto the deserted beach. Walked to great restaurants and bars! House was well equipped but could use a few updates. There needs to be screens on all windows although the mosquito nets helped. Some of the windows didn’t open. Water pressure was weak. Our biggest complaint would be the lack of comfortable seating. Everything was hard! Not a dealbreaker but made lounging on the deck difficult. Add some comfortable seats and do a few upgrades and you have a perfect paradise!

Good location, not a good property

The mattresses are old and uncomfortable. The fans are loud, old, and barely move air. There are no window screens, no A/C, and high humidity. The water pressure is low, making it difficult to take a shower. The sliding doors do not lock properly, allowing raccoons to get inside at night and create a huge mess. Additionally, there is no door to the master suite, just a curtain.

Éramos un grupo de 5 personas, 1 pareja moderna con 2 perritos, los cuales se portaron súper bien y disfrutaron bastante del espacio de la casa, lo cual era muy conveniente, son perritos entrenados entonces podían estar sueltos con supervisión siempre, en cuanto a la ubicación con respecto a la playa frente a Cocles, tiene un 100, realmente son pocos pasos y es una zona bastante tranquila también para caminar hacia la izquierda o la derecha o incluso solo quedarse frente a la salida, cabe destacar que el mar de Cocles es un poquito más picado que en otras áreas, por lo que es importante tener esa precaución, aunque se hacen bastantes “pozitas” al frente de esa parte de la playa. En cuanto a la casa en general, está bastante bien equipada, la casa es bastante amplia, y los espacios comunes como la terraza y la cocina y sala son muy amplios y cómodos. Como recomendación sería bueno que todas las ventanas tengan cedazo, por los mosquitos o moscas, ya que solo 1 ventana contaba con ese recurso, la Luz de la entrada no funcionaba lo cual hacía complicado abrir y cerrar el candado en la noche, y como última recomendación quizás las llaves podrían tener número o algun identificador para hacer más amigable su uso. Revisar el olor de los almohadones de la sala y el funcionamiento de los servicios Sanitarios ya que el del baño principal tenía un reflujo, sería bueno considerar incluir un microondas que es muy conveniente.

Los cuartos cómodos con ventilador y mosquitero, en la noche se duerme muy rico con el arrullo del mar. Vimos un perezoso en la propiedad y muchas mariposas Morfo en varios momentos. Recomendado :)

Excelente ubicación, la propiedad es muy bonita y la playa que está al frente es muy tranquila, especialmente para llevar mascotas. La casa necesita mantenimiento, la mayoría de ventanas y puertas de vidrio no pueden cerrarse con llave y considero que deberían aclarar en la página web que la casa no tiene aire acondicionado.

Nice location, could use some improvements

Home is conveniently located steps away from the beach. You can’t see the ocean because there are amazing trees and plants everywhere. Cool home but it could really use window screens and stronger ceiling fans. There’s no air conditioning so you need the windows open at night. I loved that because you can hear the ocean but a lot of the bugs/critters come in. The mosquito nets over the beds aren’t great. Communication on check-in could have been better in that more information about home keys, safe, etc. would have been helpful. However, the group was responsive and helpful when I reached out.

Private Jungle Beach

This is an oasis of privacy and beachfront access! You have virtually no neighbors nearby and easy, private access to the beach. The house was simple and exactly what we needed to enjoy our stay!

Great location

The house is located next to the beach, so you never really had to leave the place. Great response rate and very detailed information about the place, great service in general. The bathrooms felt outdated, specially the toilets they need improvement. The kitchen could need improvement as well. But generally speaking it was a great home.
