The place was beautiful. Wonderful location. Great communication from the owner, easy to follow instructions to enter as well. With it costing 850 for 2 nights. I would suggest that this would be an EXCELLENT Fall, Winter or Spring property, but currently has no air conditioning and never got below 82 with all the windows open (no screens) and a small portable evaporative cooler in the dining area upstairs. It was nearly impossible to sleep. I do appreciate the quick responses from the owner and the effort they put into this beautiful property, but for what we paid, we were disappointed and very uncomfortable. Lesson learned. We will be sure to check for a/c when searching for a place in the summer.

Hi Janet. Indeed it does get toasty there in the summer. We do not list A/C as an amenity but we try to work with guests to keep it as cool as possible. We plan to install AC for next summer. Your pricing is a little misleading because it does include pet fees, it would normally not be that expensive without pets. But good advice to check for AC as an amenity in warmer times of year for any traveler to any location.

We had a great stay in Driggs this winter. The condo is comfortable, with a great sectional seating area, well equipped kitchen and dining area. It is close to town, and a quick drive to Grand Targhee ski resort and about 45 minutes to Jackson. Two things to note, however, and the reason for only giving 4 stars. First, the listing did not make clear that the bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs, while the kitchen, dining and living space is upstairs, nor that the master bedroom and bathroom, also upstairs, were locked and unavailable for use. This posed an issue because the thermostat for the entire unit is in the master bedroom. Fortunately, our hosts allowed us access to the master bedroom so that we could adjust the heat ourselves. But this meant that in order for the living spaces upstairs to be a reasonable temperature (69-70), the downstairs bathroom and bedrooms were freezing cold. This also meant that we were unable to use the fireplace as it is upstairs and would throw the temperature balance off further. We suggested to the hosts that they supply space heaters for the lower level to address this upstairs/downstairs temperature conundrum. If they do, this will be a great condo for other winter travelers.

Thanks again for being patient about the heating issue and your recommendations. We definitely plan to solve that issue. I also appreciate your feedback about clarifying that the bedrooms are downstairs and the living room and kitchen is upstairs and will update our post accordingly!
