Wonderful!

Our family of 12 had a fantastic vacation at Stone House Manor! Jane was a wonderful host and gave us an extensive tour at check-in. All the rooms were even better than the pictures and the third floor space was perfect for the kids to have their own space. We loved walking to the beach every day and our Black Lab had the best time of her life! Thanks Jane for everything!!!

Secluded retreat with lots of space

We absolutely loved the space and the location. We were all able to have separate living space while also allowing lovely scenic places for us to gather as a group. We loved walking down to Spinney's and the beach, and appreciate the amenities that were provided! We hope to come back again.

Lovely stay - perfect weather

Our sojourn at Stone House Manor was peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable! We were a collection of foodies and cooks, and the well stocked kitchen was a tremendous asset, as we ate in almost every night. Rachael was always available to answer questions, and the owner Jane could not have been more helpful. For example, they brought an air mattress that we were able to set up in one of the studies to accommodate our large party. The house was well appointed, and it was truly a home away from home. We reveled and all of the outdoor activities, the great lawn, the lake, and the nearby beaches. All in all, we could not have asked for a better stay!

Phenomenal House

This is a unique property in a beautiful part of Maine. The house is perfect for a large group - especially if you love to cook because the kitchen - and TWO large butler pantry with everything you could ever want or need - were amazing. The property is huge and the walk to the beach - as well as the short drive to the spectacular Popham Beach State Park - makes the location terrific. Easy drives for lobster, oysters, etc. Weather wasn’t the greatest so we appreciated a large house and the huge glassed-in porch where we spent a lot of our time. Tim & Jane were terrific. As other reviews have mentioned, the mosquitoes really are a “thing” so be prepared. It really was a lovely week with our adult kids.

Beautiful and private vacation home

This turn of the century home was magical for our family. The view from the house looking down to Silver Lake is tranquility at its best. We had plenty of room with room to spare for our seven adults and four small children. The house is very well equipped and the beach is a short drive/walk away. Family Reunion

The property is gorgeous. The house is a mansion. The kitchen/ pantry was perfect for a large group. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were very helpful.

Dream vacation setting

This is a fantastic place! The photos don’t show just how magnificent the Stonehouse Manor is. The kitchen, in particular, has great commercial quality appliances, including two dishwashers and a huge fridge. There are excellent grills and griddles and every kitchen gadget you could hope for. A great place to cook for a big group! Everything was comfortable and well stocked. Our group of families enjoyed lounging in hammocks, paddling the lake in the provided kayak, playing badminton and croquet, and of course going to nearby Popham Beach. As long as you pack bug spray, you’re sure to have a great time!

Dream destination with every amenity

Absolutely a heavenly experience with great beach access, abundant space and activities for the whole group of 11 of us. Everyone had their space as well as great gathering places. Fantastic destination rain or shine. Easy to work with Jane and Tim too, they were very gracious.
