Westwind #304 is a west corner gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located on the 3rd floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 960 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living area. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are two full baths with a tub/shower combo. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom and the hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo as well. King, queen, berthing bunks. Sleeps 8. No Monthly Rentals.

Westwind is a 9-story building with 4 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area. The building has new exterior paint colors and new windows and sliding glass doors.

STAY AND PLAY
This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

*The 'Stay and Play Package' begins on the scheduled date of arrival and is not available on the day of departure. Services are non-cumulative and non-transferable. All services are subject to change, subject to availability, and weather permissible. The 'Stay and Play Package' does not apply to monthly rentals.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view. Condo had everything we needed. Close to stores and everyone was respectfully quiet. Will stay again.

We only stayed a short time but it was peaceful, location was great, weather was great. The view was absolutely incredible. Will definitely go back

As expected

The property was what it was supposed to be. Pool is small but we were closer to the beach than normal so gotta give a little to get a little. Best check out procedure I've dealt with so far.

Bathroom

The toilet tissue holder in one of the bathrooms was broken. I’m certain that housekeeping must have seen this when cleaning the unit after the guest before us checked out. The bed linens and mattress were not top quality at all—worn and in need of replacing. Overall, the unit was okay-comfortable and conveniently located.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condos location was excellent. Upon entering the condo we noticed that it is dated. It has a dehumidifier in the living room that we were not given instructions on. There is a fan mounted to the master bedroom air conditioner vent. The return air vent Grill was filthy. Overall our stay was great except for the condo needing updated and cleaned.

A little messy, but still nice

The location was perfect, we were right on the beach and had a balcony if we wanted to sit out, the apartment was able to stay nice and cool if we wanted it to. The only problem we found was that it seemed as though the only thing they cleaned before we arrived was the bathroom. There was sand all over the hallway, in the living room, and one of our friends found an empty juice box in the bed.

Ladies weekend getaway

Great beachside condo!

Loved this! Lots of room for our family of 5, felt very homey. Great view and beach access, close to everything we needed. Will definitely be back!!!

Nice property

Good location, close to food and shopping but still quiet. When bathtub drain was clogged , repair person came promptly the next morning. Wish previous guests had washed the pots and pans but everything else was great. Thanks and we would stay here again if we visit again.

Big Surprise

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Westwind near the end of May. Although we enjoyed or stay, there were a couple of undisclosed details about our unit and complex that would have caused us to not book the unit had we been informed of them. First, the unit had barely and air flow from the air conditioning vent in the master bedroom. The owners have addressed the problem by mounting a fan on the vent, but it only marginally mitigates the problem. The room was consistently several degrees warmer than the rest of the unit. Secondly, The large development across the street apparently has beach access servitude along the side of the Westwind complex. there were MANY people coming to the beach right behind Westwind and setting up their tents in the early morning. Because of this and because of the relatively narrow depth of the beach behind Westwind, we had a hard time finding a place on the beach near the complex whenever we went out to the beach. Had these matters been disclosed to us by your company in advance, we would not have elected to stay at this complex and would have definitely avoided renting the particular unit. I feel that I was mislead by your company for not disclosing these significant details of the unit and complex in advance of accepting my booking. It has caused me to be hesitant to use your company again.

I had called about another property under your umbrella, but it was full. However, Angel, provided me an immediate new idea at Westside, and within 30 minutes we made the deal possible in your office. We left 3 days later, and I discovered I had left my wallet behind, but fortunately, we were only 8 miles away. I called and (Marley or carley) not only contacted your crew, but hey found the wallet, took it to the office, and I was reunited! Customer service is awesome!
