Nestled at the foot of Breckenridge's majestic Peak 9 and historic Main Street, our second home is affectionately referred to as the "Moose Condo" due to its family-friendly moose decor. The Moose Condo is conveniently located in the newly refurbished Village at Breckenridge lodge complex, and showcases fabulous views of Maggie Pond, the Blue River, historic downtown Breckenridge, and the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Our premier location is mere steps from Peak 9's Quicksilver Lift, the Breckenridge Ski School, incredible restaurants, historic Main Street shops, performing arts center, bike trail (400 miles of paved bike trails!), and nearby municipal ice skating rink. When comparing our location to other Ski-In/Ski-Out condos in Breckenridge, few offer both the convenience of being close to the ski area and lifts, and a short walking distance to historic downtown Breckenridge. At the Moose Condo, bringing a car is truly optional.

From the window or balcony of the Moose Condo, watch the sun rise over the majestic Rocky mountains, or listen to the comforting sounds of the Maggie Pond spilling into the Blue River.


Your vacation stay in the Moose Condo includes a fully equipped & updated kitchen. The Moose Condo features a remodeled granite and tile bathroom with vessel sink, new appliances and granite kitchen counter tops, a romantic wood-burning fireplace and rustic aspen log furniture.

Our condo includes a comfortable queen pull-out futon with $800 foam mattress in the living room, a custom Aspen log love seat, and king size mattress in the master bedroom. Our one bedroom also has an Aspen log single bunk bead, allowing accommodations for a family or group of 5 (2 in the king, 2 in the queen futon, and 1 in the single bunk). Also, at 840 square feet, the Moose Condo is large in comparison to other 1 bedroom Breck lodging.

A quiet night's rest... Another unique benefit of the Moose Condo is the concrete construction for added noise abatement and quiet when you need it most. We have owned and stayed in other condos that are typical wood frame construction, and have had some difficult nights sleeping when condo neighbors took the festivities into the wee hours. The Moose Condo's concrete ceiling and floors provide much better than average sound protection.

Your rental also includes unlimited access to The Village Health Club, located on-site and inside The Peak Nine Inn within The Village at Breckenridge lodge complex. Pool hours are 7 AM to 10 PM, and the work out facility is available from 6 AM to 11 AM. The Village Heath Club has four (4) outdoor hot tubs, a heated indoor/outdoor pool, aerobic and weight exercise room with treadmill and life-cycle aerobic equipment, large steam room, dry sauna, and locker room with showers.

If you need more than our health club, the fabulous Breckenridge Recreation Center is just a ten minute drive (or catch free shuttle) where for a small fee, you can enjoy wall climbing, basketball, racquetball, tennis, weight rooms, exercise machines, indoor running track, large lap pool for adults and large wading pool for children, etc.


Parking is extremely limited in Breckenridge, and at the Village location, we cannot guarantee on-site parking. If on-site garage parking is available, the ADDITIONAL FEE will be $23 per night, billed separately. If on-site parking IS NOT available at the time of booking, we will send you all nearby off-site parking options prior to accepting your booking.

About Twilla Entin

We are a family of four who fell in love with Breckenridge many years ago. We purchased our first "home away from home" in Breckenridge in 2001. We sold our studio condo, and upgraded to a one bedroom at The Village at Breckenridge in 2007. Our primary residence is near Boulder, Colorado. We love living in Colorado, where we enjoy skiing, hiking and outdoor adventure. We enjoy sharing our mountain home with you as our guests, and work hard to make your stay a wonderful experience. Our goal is to provide you with all the comforts of home and charms of Breckenridge.

Why Twilla Entin chose Breckenridge

Breckenridge has so much to offer with it's beautiful landscape and small town charms. The historic and authentic nature of the town provides a unique addition to the thrill of the Breckenridge ski resort. Dale fell in love with Breck long ago, when he worked as a photographer for the ski resort in 1982. Twilla came here with Dale for the first time in 1996, and quickly fell in love with Breck's beauty and charms. We dreamed of owning a second home here, and realized that dream in 2001. We starting bringing our children here on family vacations, and continue to make memories here. From a less whimsical perspective, the top three reasons we bought the Moose Condo were location, location, location.

A movie quote sums up our Breck story best - “This is my most special place in all the world... once a place touches you like this, the wind never blows so cold again."

What makes this condo unique

1 - Location being paramount, with short walks to the ski lifts, the ski lift office, and historic downtown Breckenridge. Very few properties in Breckenridge offer both Mountain and Main... the 'M&M' benefit!

2 - The charming nature of the Moose Condo, in decor and proximity to the Blue River and Maggie Pond.

3 - Relative quiet compared to many condos and hotels we've experienced. The concrete construction of walls, ceilings and floors provides better than average insulation from neighboring condo noise.

4 - We are the owners of this condo unit, and it is as our second home. We work hard to make your stay a comfortable one. Besides the Moose Condo, Twilla manages three other units for our friends. Our attention isn't divided among numerous properties as can be the case with large rental management companies. I've stayed at many places in Breckenridge over the years, and this is the best. The location is perfect, and close to everything. The condo is very clean, and the decor is awesome. The owners have paid attention to every detail, and provide every convenience to those who rent.

The condo was clean and updated, the kitchen contained everything we could need, and there were plenty of blankets, pillows, etc. The condo is close to the elevator and the laundry room, both of which came in very handy, and the building itself is right next to the ski school and Peak 9. We didn't need our car at all. We couldn't have asked for a better spot, and will definitely be back!

Best location

Location, location, location! If you ski at Peak 9 then you can’t beat this location. Plus you can walk everywhere and leave your car in the garage. The condo itself was very comfy and cozy. We will use it again.

Clean fully equipped with great location

Had a great October getaway at Moose Condo. Moose Condo has a great location, parking, and is very clean. It also has a comfortable bed. On the day we left our RF pass would not open the parking garage door. A call to Twilla fixed it and wallah we were on our way with hardly any delay. So great service too. We plan to return next year.

Perfect location! We came in the off season and it was still so fun. Condo was absolutely adorable. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Owners were very easy to get a hold of. Condo had everything you could need. Would definitely choose the moose condo again.

Moose Condo is conveniently located and quite comfortable. The owners are easily accessible and very attentive. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, appliances and dishes and very organized. Everything we needed to cook was available. Plenty of firewood on the balcony for our toasty fires. We enjoyed our stay.

If your second payment of 75% has been made more than 30 days prior to arrival, that second payment of 75% is refundable if the reservation is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival.

Our PAYMENT POLICY is as follows:

1st payment of 25% of total due is required to confirm your reservation. This 1st payment is applied to your total due, and is NOT refundable.

The 2nd payment for the remaining balance (75%) is due at least 30 days prior to arrival date, and refundable ONLY IF cancellation occurs MORE than 30 days prior to arrival. No refund is provided for cancellations made 30 days or less before arrival.

If a reservation is booked less than 30 days prior to arrival, a 100% full payment is required, which is non-refundable.
