Great Home, Great Location!
We really enjoyed our stay over the Easter Holiday. The home is in the perfect spot -- quiet, but walking distance to everything downtown. We really didn't need a car, but the parking spot just across the street from the house was great for unloading and loading back up. The home has great spaces to gather as a family but also offers enough room to find a quiet spot. We used the courtyard for breakfast and cookout and the 3rd floor deck for nightcaps and a view of the water and full moon! Tim -- thank you for all the help!
Beautiful house, great location
We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious and airy (a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures) and everything looks newly remodeled. It is just a short stroll to the most beautiful/historic streets in Charleston, shops, restaurants etc. (and the arcade machine was a big hit with the kids!)
The owner (Tim) was responsive and helpful.
Overall I would definitely recommend it.
Fantastic house in a perfect location
This house is a perfect vacation home with a view of the water and easy access to anywhere in down town Charleston. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. There are two great living areas both having TVs and a very large kitchen with everything you could need. Would definitely stay here next time I am in
Two couples enjoyed this well-appointed home situated in the perfect part of historic downtown/SOB. It is a nice alternative to our typical high-end hotel selections. Not that those spots aren't also great but being in this home together provided common spaces for us to catch-up, relaxing together when we weren't out and about. Our weather wasn't good enough to really enjoy the outdoors spaces but we were always cozy indoors. We loved being able to walk to many of our favorite parts of town and the use of the dedicated parking spot enabled us to use our rental car when needed to get to spots further afield. Owners are responsive and helpful making this an easy, convenient VRBO.
Spent a wonderful week in Charleston in this lovely home! Well maintained, beautiful kitchen and very spacious. I really enjoyed the private gated courtyard and the third floor large balcony off the master bedroom. Even though so close to downtown, it was very peaceful and relaxing. But I'd say the best thing about this home is its location! It is within an easy walking distance of the city market, downtown shops, the Battery, fantastic restaurants and is just steps away from a beautiful park on the Harbor. I would definitely recommend The Best of Charleston - because it is!
I recommend this town house unless you have problems climbing stairs
Beautiful home and great location. Fantastic view of the water from the master bedroom deck. The bedrooms required climbing one or two flights of stairs so if you you have issues climbing stairs, this house is an issue. Aside from the stairs, the house is very well maintained and the owner very responsive to any questions or issues. Excellent amenities and a fun 1990s video game consol. Parking is limited to one space with no others available on the street. We would stay there again unless we were with my 88 year old mom.
Next to Charleston's famous Rainbow Row and just steps away from the Battery.

No haggling! All rates are non-negotiable. Minimum 30 nights is also non-negotiable. Please do not ask!
Check Half Due at time of Reservation, remaining half plus security deposit and cleaning fee due 30 days prior to occupancy. If reservation is made less than 30 days prior to occupancy entire amount is due at time of reservation. All reservations are final.
