Welcome to the Castle on Currant, a Parade of Homes house that won the Built Green home of the Year in 2006. Receiving an E-Star Rating of 5+, which is the highest rating a home can receive, it is known as Silverthorne’s “Green House.”

The main floor living area offers an open style kitchen/ living/ dining area with gorgeous 25’ beamed ceilings and two seating areas. Kids will gather around the Winter village and key at the piano while warming themselves by the fire. A large flat screen and comfy sectional offer another seating space. The 2006 Parade of Homes award winning kitchen offers an AGA stove, full Sub-zero refrigerator and full freezer, two sinks, dishwasher, butler pantry, and a large island. The top floor offers a large loft furnished with a king murphy bed, queen leather sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, desk with two 32 inch computer monitors, a 55 inch TV, and a gorgeous view of Buffalo Mountain.

The lower level offers a large living space with a gas fireplace, 75 inch TV, bar/kitchen, pool/ping pong table, poker table, and theater. There are three bedrooms and the bunk room on this level.

The first bedroom has a Queen bed with a private sink/vanity.
The second bedroom has a Queen bed with a private sink/vanity.
The third bedroom has a Queen bed, flat screen TV, and private sink/vanity.
*A half bath and oversized shower room are located in close proximity to these three rooms.

The bunk room offers one Queen over Queen bunk, and two XL Twin over XL Twin bunks.
*A full three-piece bath is within the bunk room.

Important Notes: (1) This home only has three shower rooms and five toilets. (2) The sixth sleeping room is a third story loft that is open to the entry way. (3) The AGA oven is on all the time and is very hot to the touch. FOR SAFETY REASONS, OCCUPANTS MUST EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION AND KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE AGA OVEN TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY! (4) The home has a three story spiral staircase that provides access to the three floors. Guests need to be able to use the staircase to access all levels of the home. (5) Due to the high alpine environment, we strongly recommend using a four-wheel drive vehicle to access the property.
