Absolutely beautiful place. The peace and quiet was amazing. I haven't felt so relaxed in ages. The tension in my shoulders is completely gone! Spent a lot of time in the hot tub, overlooking the forest. Also spent hours sitting on the deck listening to nature. Will definitely be back. The hosts were extremely helpful and responded quickly when I had questions. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The property was clean; our host was prompt with communication. This was a GREAT location! Main traffic wasn't too far away but we couldn't hear it. There were neighbors nearby, but we felt like we were in the woods alone due to size of property. It was mostly rainy while we stayed and the home was warm. We even lit the fireplace one night-so cozy! The kids loved the hot tub.
We weren’t able to swing an out-of-town vacation this year, but decided last-minute we wanted to at least get out of our home for a couple nights. This place, way across town and in the woods was perfect! Kids mostly lounged in the house and in the hot tub, husband made fires in the fireplaces to warm up after winter-tubbing, and I enjoyed cooking with the super-smart convection oven. We also enjoyed exploring the trail down to the river and playing basketball. Such a fun way to bring in the new year! The only things I’d suggest is to supply more tp (there were no back-ups, just the partial rolls already there), and more bedding (says sleeps 8, but there wasn’t enough warm bedding for the 6 of us- didn’t realize til it was late the first night). Owner and property manager were very responsive to requests. Also, great art and fun book collection!
