We enjoyed our time at Teach’s Lookout. Five of us two dogs stayed for two weeks in June, and the beach was consistently used by nearby houses but not crowded. The view was even better than anticipated, and the gates on the deck made it so easy to sit out with the dogs without worrying about what they might get into. We could always find shade or sun, depending on our moods and the temp. The crow’s nest deck was fun to use and provided a broader view for early morning coffee and late-night beverages. The access point was so convenient, and this section of the beach was very clean and quiet. We always stay oceanside, but this spot just across the street was just as nice.We used the hot tub quite a bit — it was a perfect activity when we didn’t have the time to take our stuff to the sand across the street. The house had nearly everything we needed, and the living room area was very comfortable. The outside shower was great, and the laundry room was very neatly kept.We used Andrew’s Produce quite a bit during this stay, given how close it is! Fresh fruits, veggies, pies, and some jams that we bought as souvenirs to bring home for family and friends. This is a classic beach house, which we love. Well-kept, smaller, more vintage houses are getting harder and harder to find. We are grateful this one was shared with us for a few weeks.
