The space
This 2,735 sq ft home sleeps up to 18 across five bedrooms, each with its own full ensuite bathroom (five full baths plus two half baths in all).
☀ Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 each have a king bed and a private full bathroom.
☀ Bedroom 4 has one standalone full bed plus two bunk beds (one twin-over-full, one twin-over-twin).
☀ Bedroom 5 has three twin-over-twin bunk beds, six twin beds total, built for kids, cousins and big groups.
The open-concept living area centers on a wood-burning stone fireplace, with vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and big windows looking into the forest. The kitchen has an oversized island and full-size range for group cooking, plus two dining tables so the whole crew sits together.
The private theater seats seven in recliners, with a projector, surround sound and a popcorn machine, a good pick for a rainy day or a quiet night in after the slopes.
Outside, soak in the private hot tub, gather at the gas fire pit on the deck (used when conditions allow; no charcoal grills or open fires), or grill on the deck's BBQ. The turf yard has a bocce court and yard games, usable when the ground is snow-free.
Central heating runs on two thermostats, one per floor; there is no air conditioning, and portable fans are provided. High-speed wifi supports streaming and video calls, with a dedicated workstation in the living room. A washer and dryer are available.
Please note: the main entry has steep stairs, and the home has multiple flights of stairs throughout, so it is not suited to wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.

Other things to note
Peaceful Neighborhood Setting 🌲🏔️
Located in a quiet residential area of Tahoe City, this home is best suited for families and respectful groups looking to enjoy a relaxing mountain getaway with privacy, comfort, and easy access to local adventure.
🌲Air Conditioning:
Like many homes in the Lake Tahoe area, this property does not have air conditioning due to the region's typically mild mountain climate. Evenings usually cool down quickly, and fans are provided for your comfort. We recommend opening the windows in the evening to let in the cool mountain air and keep the home comfortable. 😊
Winter Travel & Snow Conditions ❄️🚙
Winter in Tahoe is beautiful but can bring changing road conditions. The driveway and deck are professionally cleared to help make access easier, however 4WD is strongly recommended during snow season, and guests should allow extra travel time during storms.
Parking & Arrival 🚗
The home includes parking for up to 6 vehicles total, with 2 garage spaces and 4 driveway spaces for convenient arrival and unloading.
Bear Awareness & Mountain Living 🐻🌲
Bear bins are provided for secure trash storage and help protect local wildlife. Please use them throughout your stay and avoid leaving food or trash outdoors. Tahoe’s mountain setting may also include occasional wildlife sightings and changing seasonal conditions.
A Little Heads-Up About Our Stairs 🌲
Our home has so much character — and part of that charm comes with a staircase that's the main way in and out! We just want to make sure you're set up for the best possible stay: the stairs are a bit steep in places, so if you're traveling with elderly loved ones, little ones, or anyone who prefers to take things slow, it's worth planning around. Most of our guests find a relaxed pace up and down works just fine, and we're always just a message away if you'd like more details before booking. We just want everyone who stays with us to feel comfortable and prepared! 😊
Laundry Access 🧺
A washer and dryer are available for guest use, making longer stays and post-adventure cleanup easy and convenient.
