About Darren Bronski

We are a family of five! A 9 yr old daughter and identical 7 yr old twin daughters. We live in Lexington, KY and love UK sports and our horses! Snowshoe is the place we go to relax. We love skiing in the winter and love spending time in the summer golfing, fishing, hiking, and simply being a family. Snowshoe is a hidden gem. With amazing scenery and abundance of activities, there is no place on earth like it!

Why Darren Bronski chose West Virginia

We chose Summit and specifically 107D because everything is brand new and updated!!! All of the work was professionally done and no expense was spared. Summit offers the most for our family and visitors. It is a short walk to the Village and has amazing views to the West. The pool is a short walk up the hill which is great for my kids.

Furthermore, unlike the Village, Summit has large rooms and space to relax. With the modern kitchen, new floors, updated bathrooms, and the stone fireplace, it just felt like what a home in the mountains should be!

Great, relaxing ski break!

  • 5 of 5

We were two families on ski break together and found the Summit 107D absolutely perfect for our needs. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking items, including two coffee makers, toaster, griddle for pancakes, etc. We watched movies, played games in front of the fire and the place was accessible easily to the village and even an easy walk from the best Western Territory skiing. And the deer in the backyard every morning just added to the ambiance. Great accommodations!

wonderful experience

  • 5 of 5

We, 5 adults and 2 children, all enjoyed staying at this condominium. The location is great, views are beautiful, and it was extremely quiet (except for some all night New Year's Eve party animals!). There is no cell phone coverage (AT&T works in the Village but not Verizon) but the condo has a landline that you can use and the wi-fi was very reliable from morning - night. The owner was extremely helpful and responsive. Couldn't ask for anything more - except snow which is beyond everyone's control!

Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location, spotless condo, beautiful mountain views! We had 4 adults & 4 kids, ages 5-12. This condo was perfect- big enough for all of us. Everything you need is provided- The kitchen is well stocked, there are plenty of games to play, a cozy fireplace & we had deer right outside the window. Very convenient - just across the street (up 2 sets of stairs, about a 5 minute walk max) from the Village. We had a LOT of snow the weekend we were there- and, as it was a holiday weekend, the parking was very crowded. This occasionally prevented the shuttle from getting through- but it's a pretty easy walk up to the to Village, where you can catch another shuttle if needed. The owner was very helpful in providing us additional information on the area before we arrived. Something to note- There is little to no cell phone service in the area & we were only able to get on the wifi very early in the morning or very late at night. Frankly, it was kind of nice to be off the grid for the weekend. The Fox Fire Grille is awesome- expect a long wait though!

Beautiful condo and great owners!!

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED this condo. Beautifully updated. We had a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) and we were very comfortable. Location is one of the best on the mountain. Located just across the street from center village. Short walk, not bad even in the winter. Nice to be in walking distance just in case you miss the last bus. If you don't want to walk, the bus stops right in front of the building. We waited no more than 5-10 minutes each time. Great, unobstructed view from the back porch. The deer come right up to the porch! Wonderful for the kids. The owners are wonderful. They responded immediately to any questions I had both before our arrival and during our stay. Unit has cable and wifi access. Great TVs. All in all, one of the best vacations we've had.

Snowshoe Mountain has won numerous awards and is a top rated ski resort on the East Coast. At 4800' elevation, 1500 vertical drop, 1.5 miles of downhill, 251 acres, 14 lifts and 51 trails, there is an assortment of terrain for all levels of skiing. Also, the 180' of average snowfall and 100% snowmaking, you will never have to worry about the ski conditions. I have skied the entire east coast and the rustic mountain feel combined with the ski terrain and nightly activities in the village, There is no better resort east of the Mississippi! If you are bringing the kids, don't worry. The trained ski instructors will have your kids wanting to ski all night while you enjoy some adult time and skiing.
