Enter the main living area, where comfort meets retro flair. The feature wall showcases a one-of-a-kind "Aries" oil painting by Daniel Bilmes above the sofa. The sofa opens up to a comfortable queen-size bed to offer additional sleeping space, perfect for accommodating larger groups. The audiophile-grade sound system includes a record player, CD player, and Sonos connection, allowing you to unwind to your favorite tunes. This inviting open-concept space is open to the kitchen and dining area and encourages you to relax, reflect, and enjoy the panoramic unobstructed desert views from three sliding glass doors.

The sunken primary bedroom is a groovy stamp in time featuring a luxurious king bed and a smart TV for movie nights. For a transformative experience, activate the disco switch to illuminate the disco ball overhead and a custom light neon art installation by Olivia Steele. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a smart TV, and both bedrooms have blackout blinds.

The bathroom is designed for indulgence, offering a luxury soaking tub that invites you to rejuvenate in a spa-like atmosphere. It also has a shower for a quick rinse after exploring.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Joshua Tree from our outdoor space. The house is perched on a bluff surrounded by 10 acres of land, with Joshua Tree's best sunset views. The saltwater pool, which can be heated at an additional cost, offers a refreshing escape, while the separate hot tub is built-into a stargazing deck with a fire pit and provides a soothing experience under the starlit sky. Two fire pit areas create perfect settings for cozy evenings and stargazing. Both the pool and hot tub use a salt mineral system to purify the water which reduces chlorine by 80%. The king-size daybed invites you to relax and absorb the sun's warmth, while the refreshing outdoor shower makes rinsing off easy. Enjoy outdoor games like cornhole and tetherball while you fire up the BBQ. The whimsical "mushroom lounge" patio area enhances the eclectic charm of the property. Ernie, our refurbished vintage 1971 VW Bug is parked next to a custom "Follow That Dream" sign installation by Olivia Steele, offering the perfect photo opportunity.

Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.

The charming shops, bars and restaurants of downtown Joshua Tree are just 15 minutes away, and on the way, stop by the jaw-dropping "Transmission" installation, just a 3-minute drive from Joshua Tree Improper.

The entire property is yours to enjoy! Please note that there are a few closets being used for storage for supplies for the rental that are locked to guests.

Getting Around:
A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

JT Improper is in a remote location, and the last 1.5 miles are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt roads may have large bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

Please make sure to follow our directions to the house, as following GPS may take you on roads that are not maintained.
