Welcome to The Drifting Kayak Vacation Rental House. Located in a quiet and peaceful, well-maintained HOA neighborhood, just a 5-minute drive from the crystal clear and 72-degree F Rainbow River springs, for kayaking, paddleboarding, scuba, and tubing down the river! The little town of Dunnellon has many companies where you can rent a kayak, and they will bus you to the nearby KP Hole, the public put-in for the Rainbow River. Also nearby, you will find the Rainbow River State Park, which has a roped-off swimming area over the spring head. Our cozy little house has 2 King beds and a twin daybed. 1200 Mbps of wifi, a dedicated office space, and a printer. There are smart TVs with Fire TV Sticks for your entertainment and relaxation. Feel free to log in to your Streaming subscription channels. Experience Dunnellon like a local, go explore the nearby local art center, as well as a historical village where you can find your next antique treasure or that special gift for a loved one. There is a Winn-Dixie grocery store just minutes away from the home for all your food shopping needs, as well as a Super Walmart as you enter town. This charming property has a family room, with a remote-controlled electric log fireplace to add a cozy vibe and atmosphere, a reading nook, adult coloring books and pencils, a jigsaw puzzle table for relaxing while you watch a movie or TV show, and board games and playing cards for some fun! There is a 6-foot-long jetted bathtub and shower in the guest bathroom. An inside laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board for all your laundering needs during your stay. The swimming pool is not heated, but you're welcome to use it for a refreshing swim if you'd like. The pool company comes to clean it weekly on a Monday. There is a coffee station for you to enjoy that morning cup of coffee, while rocking on the front porch or enjoying the peaceful backyard, listening to the birds waking up. A drip coffee machine, an electric kettle if you'd like tea instead. I've provided starter packs of ground coffee, a variety of sweeteners and teabags, and hot chocolate for you to enjoy. We hope you enjoy what our place and Dunnellon have to offer. The pool patio does have a removable baby safety fence, but please don't leave any small kids in the pool area unsupervised. We want you to be as comfortable and safe as possible during your stay.
