Assuming that this is a new property and renter, I am rating the property based on quality and the service from the Blue Ridge Mountain Rental staff, which exceeded expectations!( the owner could use some marketing pointers!)The "manual" on the counter when you arrive is the most NEGATIVE presentation I have EVER seen. Devoted almost entirely to things you should NOT do, and almost no helpful suggestions. when we checked in we reviewed the manual and were able to establish the Wi-Fi codes and general housekeeping information. There was no mention of how to start the fireplace or how to access the different TV options ,but at least 2 1/2 pgs. About Penalties for misuse of the fireplace logs or with the fireplace. We soon realized that the fire pit canister was out of gas. No mention in the manual of where any additional canisters might be stored in the manual. The Blue Ridge Mountain rental staff provided great assistance and sent someone to take care of that situation immediately. We also realized that there was no access to any streaming service( one of the reasons for the Gathering was to watch sporting events together).BR Rental sent help, even with assistance took 2 days to resolve. I'm afraid there isn't enough space to express our disappointment with these simple problems. We rented this house as a gift to our guests, so we were personally embarrassed with these seemingl petty issues.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry the home guide wasn’t more helpful and that the fireplace and TV instructions were missing. We also apologize for the delay in resolving the streaming issue and for the empty fire pit canister. We appreciate your kind words about our team’s assistance and will review these concerns to improve the information provided for future guests. - BRMR

Obviously property listings post flattering pictures and descriptions of their home. Fox Hollow did not exaggerate one bit. This beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood lived up to every representation. Our family joined together for Memorial Day weekend and us of us from age four to 74 loved our accommodations. From layout to decorating touches it was a true home, not just a rental house. The rainy weather limited our outdoor time but the house provided tvs, air hockey, a ping pong table and game console to entertain everyone. There was space for privacy to read and for everyone to gather for games and meals. The kitchen was the best equipped of any house we have ever rented. Every item or utensil imaginable was available. The bathrooms were beautiful and the house was spotless on our arrival. Had the weather been better we had two huge deck areas available for use, too.All of us agreed that we had one of the best family gatherings ever and everyone wants to make this annual trip.
