The Loon House is on beautiful, clean spring fed Silver lake.

The Loon House is a great 4 season home for any vacation, getaway. Sitting around the fire pit with the lake right in front of you and watching amazing sun sets over the lake, or get in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine and just relax. The Loon House has a nice and clean water front, great for swimming, floating, fishing, kayaking or laying in the hammock by the water reading a book and just relax. The camp road offers a nice, quiet place to take a walk or bike ride. We are located about an hour away from a lot of places, Baxter state park, Bangor, Canada, etc.

Enjoyed our stay very much. House is located on a beautiful spot on Silver Lake with beautiful and spacious lake frontage. We enjoyed hanging out at the picnic table and lounge chairs and using the dock to launch our small aluminum boat and float in the lake! House is spacious and perfect for our family.

Perfect vacation spot

We loved our week at the Loon House. The camp is clean and comfortable. Lake is clear and sandy bottom is easy on the feet. Owners are responsive and the camp is well stocked. Will be booking again for next year.

Summer vacation

What a beautiful home and surroundings, we had a wonderful time kayaking on silver lake, fishing and swimming. Ed and Michele were wonderful hosts, always quick to respond when needed. We had the best time ever and look forward to returning next year.Thanks for everything, Rose and Alan

Gallant Getaway

The house was beautiful and very comfortable. It was very well stocked. The lake and dock had nice easy access with sandy beach. The view was incredible and the Loons and we even had a Bald Eagle fly over. Great memories made with our Daughters and grandkids

Silver Lake Stay-cation

The was our 2nd year staying at Ed & Michele's place on Silver Lake. It's something we look forward to from the moment we book it. The place is roomy for all of us. A relaxing getaway for the grown-ups and lots of fun in the water for swimming or fishing for the kids. It's located on a quiet road great for walks. Thank you for a great vacation, Ed & Michele!!

Very peaceful and comfortable

Property was as described. Ed and Michelle are very friendly and welcoming and ready to help if needed. Beautiful views of the lake from the house. We very much enjoyed our stay. We relaxed so much that I think it will be a shock to go back to work!. We may be back some day with the family!

Excellent. From the second we walked in. Beautiful house with a beautiful yard right on the lake. House was well stocked with everything you could think of. You can also atv right from the house and the trail system there is endless. The hosts were excellent and very responsive to your questions. Definitely 5 stars. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, Relaxing Week!

The property is clean and well-maintained on a beautiful lakefront lot. The owners are close-by and very accommodating. The house is roomy yet cozy with great views. It is the most well-stocked place we’ve encountered. The lake is beautiful and warm and we enjoyed rowing our rafts, paddle boarding and many water fights! Sitting on the dock at the end of the day listening to the loons was perfect!

Summer Family Vacation

We spent a week at Silver Lake with 7-8 people at any given time and it never seemed crowded. The waterfront is great for swimming and easy boat/kayak/canoe access. There is a nice open yard great for outdoor games with a fire pit. The road is quiet with not much traffic, the kids had fun riding their bikes. Inside there is a nice open kitchen/living area and plenty of places for all of us to sleep. We can't wait to go back!!

Beautiful Location!

Ed and Michelle were at the property when we arrived and were very accommodating and helpful! The weekend was busy on the lake, but very quiet and empty during the week. The lake is gorgeous and the yard has plenty of room for games or just relaxing. The house itself was very clean and well stocked. We did a lot of fishing and swimming, had campfires and played games inside and out. We took a day trip to Baxter State Park which was about an hour away. The loft was very hot during our stay, so we all slept in the 2 rooms on the bottom floor where the air conditioning is. It was a perfect getaway and we were so sad to leave!

A beautiful getaway.

This was definitely the best rental I have ever stayed it. The house was well stocked, especially with linens and towels, which was much appreciated. The yard is beautiful and the dock was the best hangout spot. We want to make staying here a family tradition. Thank you Ed and Michele!

Highly recommend!!

The Loon House is a wonderful property which I would highly recommend. It accommodated our family of 8 very well. It was very clean and extremely well stocked with all the amenities needed to cook. Great location with privacy from other camps. Very quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunsets to be enjoyed from inside through the glass doors across the entire front of the home or on the deck over looking the water. It has a spacious grass yard with horseshoe pits and plenty of extra space for other outdoor games. Great sandy swimming area with easy water access for little ones. The fire pit near the water is also a great place to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. It is pet friendly which was a must for our grand-dogs🙂 Ed and Michele are super nice and accommodating and made us feel very welcomed upon arrival. Definitely plan to go back!!

Lakefront for families

We had such a relaxing stay at Michele and Ed's beautiful lake house. The house was well maintained and had everything we needed for our family of four. We enjoyed the dock for fishing and swimming. We rented some kayaks and adventured around the lake, seeing loons, heron, turtles, kingfishers and islands. Right after we arrived we got a flat tire and Ed was so gracious with his assistance of a jack. Thank you so much for the amazing vacation. We can't wait to come back next year.

All that we needed

Thank you to our hosts Ed and Michelle. They greeted upon arrival and answered all of our questions. A big and clean place to live, move and sleep comfortably with all of the accommodations of home. from pots and pans, firepit, barbeque grill and kayaks...even a pool table.

Perfect Lake House

Simply, the best stay we have booked ever. From the moment we pulled in to the sad moments of leaving Ed and Michele’s home was the perfect place. The lake, bonfire, kayak, home was all amazing and we look forward to going back again and again. The pictures do not do this home justice. Ed and Michele are local and on top of everything! Can’t wait to come back!

I was looking for a “camp” on a lake that I could return to every summer with my family. I have found that! This is probably the first vacation that each family member loved in their own way. I got to relive my family memories of having a camp on a lake as a child, my husband wasn’t cooped up in a hotel (loves the outdoors), and my 10 yr old son didn’t say once that he was bored! At the top of the list; the house was very clean! The yard was well maintained. Neighbors were nice, lake is breathtaking. Pictures listed don’t do the property justice. Grocery store was close enough to make a trip if needed or on the way. If you forget anything, Michele and Ed have it covered. Clearly thoughtful owners that care about their renters stay. Pool table, tv, and board games were great entertainment for a rainy day. Just cant say enough great things about this place and the owners. I am booking another week for next summer so I can provide great family memories for my child of “uptah camp” without the hassle of owning a camp. Thanks again Ed and Michele!

Beautiful peaceful lake house.

Ed and Michelle were so helpful and kind. They answered any questions we had right away. We had gorgeous views of the lake from the living area with water front access from the front yard. The house has plenty of room for family to gather yet private bedrooms and a loft. If you want peace and serenity, this home is for you. The deposit was also returned in a very timely manner which is always appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here.
