The host is new to VRBO. It appears the building was purchased November 2025. The host, Anthony was quick to respond with a confirmation. I arrived 3:00 AM Wednesday, January 28th. To my suprise the front steps and walkway and porch were not shovels, as well as the parking area, walk way and patio rear of the building. It snowed an unusual amount Sunday in to Monday. I also received the incorrect code to enter the unit I reserved. It qas for the unit on the 3rd floor that was occupied. Nonetheless, I messaged and texted Anthony. He did respond rather quickly with the correct code. He said there was a mixup done by VRBO. He also said he was sending his brother and cousin over to take care of snow shoveling. Well, at that point it was 4:00 AM. I need to unpack my car and pet cat. The snow was very deep all around the property including the alley. Fortunate my car is equipped with 4-wheel drive. I found a shovelin the basement and shoveled front and back to avoid falling and waling in knee deep snow tracking it in the building. I also had issues with frozen water supply lines in the bathroom. I made Anthony aware. Nonetheless, I was able to thaw the water supply lines using the provided hair dryer. I discovered a downdraft of artic air coming out of a copper pipe in the brick wall under the vanity. I stuffed it with papertowels which drastically reduced the cold air flow. Backdoor missing a door sweep. I blocked it with a towel. My stay and the place is very nice.
