Imagine staying in a cozy lower-level suite in one of Pittsburgh’s classic brick homes, right in the heart of the North Side and directly across from Allegheny General Hospital. This one-bedroom space offers a comfortable, practical home base for couples, small families, solo travelers, or guests visiting the city for medical stays, work trips, or weekend getaways.

Inside, the suite feels inviting and easy to settle into, with a queen bedroom and a queen pull-out sofa that gives the space flexibility for up to four guests. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, enjoy a quiet breakfast, or settle in for a longer stay, while the oversized couch and two 45-inch TVs create a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring Pittsburgh. The bathroom features an extra-large shower, and the private back patio gives guests a nice outdoor space to enjoy fresh air or unwind in the evening.

The location is one of the biggest highlights. Guests are within walking distance or a short drive to Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, Allegheny Commons Park, the Children’s Museum, the Andy Warhol Museum, Randyland, the Mexican War Streets, Stage AE, and many restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops throughout the North Side. Downtown Pittsburgh, the Carnegie Science Center, and the Strip District are also close by, making it easy to experience the city without spending all day in the car.

Guests will also appreciate thoughtful conveniences like keyless entry, high-speed Verizon Fios internet, central air and heating, premium whole-bean coffee, and flexible parking options, including free street parking or paid parking in the hospital garage nearby. The suite is professionally cleaned before every stay, and Caroline is a responsive host who provides helpful communication and virtual concierge support throughout the visit.

This suite is downstairs in a three-story brick home, with a shared front porch and a private patio in the back. Because of the stairs, it may not be the best fit for guests with mobility limitations. Since the home is across from AGH, guests may occasionally hear helicopter activity. For families traveling with little ones, a high chair and Pack ’n Play are available upon request.

Overall, this is a warm, well-located North Side stay that combines comfort, convenience, and easy access to many of Pittsburgh’s most popular attractions.

Caroline was very friendly, responsive, and helpful! We didn't get to spend much time at the apartment, but it was beautifully decorated and appointed. Everything was really nice! The location was perfect for visiting our loved one at the hospital.

This was the perfect place for our football weekend. We were able to walk to delicious local restaurants and to the stadium with ease. Everything was very clean and there was plenty of space. If you need a car, the parking on the road was easy to navigate. If you are looking for a baseball or football game, this is the place to stay!

Located in a fun part of town, but also close to anything you could be looking for in Pittsburgh. The space was very clean and comfy, making it such a good home base for our stay. Caroline was very attentive and helpful at all times, answering any questions we had and making everything very simple upon checking out. If we are ever back in the area we will certainly be looking for this spot again!

Very pleasant North Side stay

The one bedroom unit is cozy and nicely decorated, with most everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There is a sweet patio area. I made good use of the TV.

Property was perfect! Quiet street directly across from Allegheny General Hospital. Easy walk to and from the convention center downtown. Host was easy to work with, very attentive and available. Would highly recommend property, and will look to stay there next time in Pittsburgh

Within walking distance to many area attractions

My son and I were in town for 3 pirates games. This was the perfect place for us. Close to a lot of things and a very easy walk to the North Shore. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay

Perfect Stay in Pittsburgh

We had a wonderful time in Pittsburgh! The city has so much to offer and it was lovely to return to such a comfortable and clean accommodation after our outings. The hosts thought of everything a visitor might need to make their stay stress free. It rained on a few days that we were there, and there was even an umbrella! I stayed at this rental for a week and a half while a family member was being cared for at AGH. It's located across from the AGH parking garage, so the commute (on foot) could not have been any quicker. It was a super easy walk to Yinz Coffee, local restaurants (check out Legends!), as well as Allegheny Commons park. The inside of the rental was adorable and the communication with the owner was top notch. I would absolutely stay here again.

We would stay again

Nice clean unit. No problem parking. Husband liked the firm mattress. Nice decor. Bathroom sink a little too small. I put a little side table from the living room in the bathroom to put makeup on. Owner was easy to contact and very nice.

I'm from a small rural town about 90 minutes away from the city and I've called Pittsburgh my home for the past 22 years. Growing up in a small community makes me appreciate Pittsburgh's "big little" city vibe. Not only for the sporting events, but history and culture can be found around every corner—-from East Allegheny (Deutschtown) to the North Shore and The Strip District to Mt. Washington—there is something for everyone.

I have been hosting since August 2022 and I have found creating an inviting, warm and relaxing space for our guests to enjoy is so rewarding. Comfy and cozy are my favorite adjectives. —-I'm just a little obsessed about it.

My husband and I are parents to an 11 year old hockey player we adore and most weekends we are cheering him on at his games. Yoga is my therapy, I "attempt" playing the piano, and wine and conversation make me happy.

We certainly want to travel someday to one of those beautiful places listed on airbnb vs cold hockey rinks—but for now its fun thinking about it.

You can walk everywhere! The park is a few blocks away, Andy Warhol, The Children's Museum and The National Aviary are close by—-no car needed. Acrisure is an easy walk through the park as well as PNC ball park. Take a walk down to Legends Eatery which is steps away or walk two blocks to Max's Allegheny Tavern. You will love it here.
