Cabin with amazing views & fully stocked pond for fishing minutes from Patoka

The master bedroom is on the upper level a loft with a king size bed with a master bath with a walk-in shower, the guest bedroom has a queen size bed and a guest bathroom with a shower tub, the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dark stained cabinets give you the ultimate home feel. The kitchen has a toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, Keurig coffee machine, 4 burner flat top stove and microwave oven, the kitchen is stocked with pots and pans kitchen utensils grilling utensils and knives, electric skillet and crock pot, the refrigerator has ice maker and filtered water, the living room is my favorite spot in this cabin with cathedral pine ceiling with cathedral windows and a beautiful rock fireplace with gas logs, walk out from the living room onto the deck and enjoy the outside where you can set and take in the countryside or grill your favorite meal on the gas grill over looking the pond area, you can also enjoy the 5 person hot tub that sets on the front porch, a full size washer and dryers is in the cabin, for extra sleeping area their is a sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen size air up mattress in the closet, the pond is open for fishing we do have it fully stocked for catch and release.

It's close to everything we wanted to see . If you are not a late sleeper the train didn't bother you. We had a great time . Beautiful scenery. The guys liked the cows next door. Good time! The pond was beautiful.

The cabin was very nice and clean. The host offered very good directions to the cabin which was helpful. My son and I had a very nice time and did some fishing together at the pond. I really liked the view as well from the cabin. Not far from Patoka Lake which was nice. Overall we had a great stay for a couple of days.

This is a beautiful cabin - perfect size for our family of 4. It was a good anchor point to many of the things to do in that area. We were able to travel multiple directions on different days for various activities. The view is beautiful - and it's such a peaceful place to unwind and relax at.

My husband and I stay in cabins several times a year across Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana and this one is far nicer than most! The furniture in the living room is in great shape, the kitchen is beautiful and extremely well stocked. We slept in the upstairs loft bedroom, the mattress was comfortable and the tiled shower was HUGE compared to tiny tubular shower chambers some cabins offer. The host was quick to respond when we contacted her about an unexpected delivery on the porch when we arrived (meant for a house up the road) and is so sweet in providing a little snack station in the kitchen! We stayed here for a music festival nearby, but having found there are hiking trails and neighboring caves we’ll likely be back.

Great place, very clean. Lots of trains going by but they didn’t bother us . We slept in the downstairs bedroom and the bed was VERY creaky, but it was comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning and the skillets are old and should be replaced but otherwise the kitchen was well stocked for the four of us only having breakfast there. Check in and out was easy and fast. We loved sitting in the porch in the evening. The couple with us that slept upstairs said the bright lights from the Dollar General store across the street were a bit annoying. We would definitely stay here again though.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for my husband and I but it could’ve accommodated more. They had everything we needed and more. The pond was fun for fishing and the hot tub was great on the chilly night we stayed. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to our friends!

Our family had a great time at this cabin! It was clean. The hot tub was very nice as well. Our family had fun fishing at the on property pond. The cabin is also conveniently located. We went Marengo caves and the Hoosier national caves, both were only 20 minutes away.
