As a south Floridian, my husband spent his childhood summers in the Smokies, and always felt drawn to the area...I am a native New Yorker and had never been to the area until I married Richard 21 years ago...we had come up to the area 3 times before renting for three months last summer...we fell in love with the Hendersonville/Flat Rock area and decided to find a place of our own. We spend our winters in South Florida and now will be spending a lot of time in NC...it is a dream come true having this incredible house with a $5 million dollar view...and having the ability to share it with other like minded people.
Why Richard Eisen chose Henderson County
We spent a few weeks looking for a house, and we were beginning to think we were never going to find what we wanted...nothing seemed right. As we were about to look at another property, we had an unexpected detour in the road...and had to go out of our way...when we saw a small For Sale By Owner sign...we followed the road, saw the view and said this is it...and two weeks later we owned it...it was meant to be. We think everyone who stays here will feel the same...fresh clean mountain air, beautiful vistas from almost every room...and sunsets too magnificent to describe...the house is an open plan home with lots of light. There are hiking trails, golf, theater, shopping, dining nearby...no shortage of things for the whole family...and great dinners to be had with sunset cocktails on the closed in porch overlooking the valley and at least 7 mountain ridges
What makes this Cabin unique
The house is on a paved road, maintained by the county and the state, it is 3000 feet up and quite private, but minutes away from Hendersonville and Flat Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest...and a half hour from Asheville and the surrounding parks and recreation areas.
