About Richard Eisen
As a south Floridian, my husband spent his childhood summers in the Smokies, and always felt drawn to the area...I am a native New Yorker and had never been to the area until I married Richard 18 years ago...we had come up to the area 3 times before renting for three months last summer...we fell in love with the Hendersonville/Flat Rock area and decided to find a place of our own. We spend our winters in South Florida and now will be spending a lot of time in NC...it is a dream come true having this incredible house with a $5 million dollar view...and having the ability to share it with other like minded people.
Richard Eisen purchased this Cabin in 2013
Why Richard Eisen chose Hendersonville
We spent a few weeks looking for a house, and we were beginning to think we were never going to find what we wanted...nothing seemed right. As we were about to look at another property, we had an unexpected detour in the road...and had to go out of our way...when we saw a small For Sale By Owner sign...we followed the road, saw the view and said this is it...and two weeks later we owned it...it was meant to be. We think everyone who stays here will feel the same...fresh clean mountain air, beautiful vistas from almost every room...and sunsets too magnificent to describe...the house is an open plan home with lots of light. There are hiking trails, golf, theater, shopping, dining nearby...no shortage of things for the whole family...and great dinners to be had with sunset cocktails on the closed in porch overlooking the valley and at least 7 mountain ridges
What makes this Cabin unique
The house is on a paved road, maintained by the county and the state, it is 3000 feet up and quite private, but minutes away from Hendersonville and Flat Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest...and a half hour from Asheville and the surrounding parks and recreation areas.

Great house with awesome view
Everything as described. Great house offers everything you need. They did a great job sanitizing the house during Corona times. The location and the view are awesome and It’s very close to spectacular hikes as well as a nice historic town in Hendersonville. The third bedroom in the basement is a little secluded, would not recommend it for small children. The pool table is useless.
for a serious pool player but for playing around its good
Serenity, amazing views, charming cottage
Originally we came to see Christmas decoration in Biltmore estate. We have been in the area quite a lot so we knew how mountain living is like😉 Bella vista however surprised us completely with lots of walking trails, many things to see and explore and most of all quiet and peaceful cottage with beautiful view of sunsets. Even on rainy days we enjoyed looking out the mountains in the distance. Cottage is very cozy and has everything you need, even our pup felt welcome as there were bowls and leash in case if you forgot yours😉 plenty of room and lots of activities from reading the books, playing games, watching tv to even cooking( kitchen is so well stocked that we even baked some cookies) there are parks and walking trails within few miles, our favorite was Carl Sandburg house, we so enjoyed walking through pines forest and watching birds.
Very relaxing home and it sure makes you feel like you are home away from home.
Thats how we feel
Beautiful views and very private!
lots of little details, well equipped kitchen, gorgeous view, great location
We really enjoyed the house. It was clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We especially liked that it was dog friendly because we travel with our dog often.
You may drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit Pisgah National Forest, The Grove Park Inn, DuPont Triple Falls, Historic Main Streets, Carl Sandburg Home, The Biltmore House, Asheville artist studios, Chimney Rock, multiple farmers markets in season with bountiful local produce during the day, Apple orchards and countless farm to table restaurants...the best the region has to offer..Flat Rock Playhouse is only a short drive and is a great regional theater...we love the many craft and local festivals...There is always something going on for everyone in the family
