Battery Point is a destination for many tourists visiting Hobart due to the architectural style of its houses and buildings, many of which date back to the early European settlement of Tasmania. You often see walking groups visiting the area. If you enjoy pastries, coffee and good food, you’ll have many great options within a short walk—including Little Amsterdam, Preachers Bar, Devils Kitchen Cafe and Jackman & McRoss. The location was fabulous and the home warm really clean and beautiful we had plenty of space to spread out or come together chat over a shared meal The beds were comfortable and bedrooms excellent We hassled around and made the on street parking work One towel per person was provided and We would have liked a few spare towels as we are five women with long hairEasy to find and a short walk to Salamanca markets and great restaurants
A gorgeous period property - plenty of bedrooms and renovated bathrooms for our group of 6 singles. The location was perfect - walkable to cafes and restaurants and Salamanca(Sat. markets). Also close to the city centre.
High quality and spacious. Back verandah a bit unsafe for little ones!!

Thanks for your review, we're pleased you enjoyed your stay. We don't feel there is any issue with the back verandah (as its a deck area just above ground level) so will contact you to discuss your concerns. All the very best and hope to welcome you back
Great size for our party of 5 ladies, as we each had a bedroom and the house has 3 bathrooms. Very quiet street, a number of nearby eateries which were fabulous. Wear your walking shoes, and be prepared for lots of steps. Overall it was a wonderful mini getaway.
Absolutely the best place to stay, plenty of room. Love that there were amenities in all bathrooms, pantry items (oil, s&p, flour, tea, coffee, aluminium foil, cling wrap etc). Very clean. Super close to delectable cafe’s and restaurants. The only issue was all bathrooms are upstairs and we had my elderly mother staying but she managed the stairs. Highly recommend this house.

It was a wonderful location, walking distance to everything we needed.
Great restaurants particularly Da Angelo's and Jackson and McRoss.
Salamanca Fresh for great provisions and of course everything around the harbour.
The home is spacious and well appointed.
I feel best for a large family or a group of four couples.

We loved our stay at 99 Hampden. A character filled house in a location that provides access to most of what you travel to Hobart for. Lovely renovated bathrooms. We only had two bath towels for four but the managers got the extras to us as soon as they could. Highly recommended.
Loved staying here. Brilliant house and fantastic location. Owners have thought of everything. Property managers not particularly responsive in the lead up. Was frustrating not to be able to call them.
Most of The Lost Quays (thelostquays.com) & spouses stayed 5 nights in Victoria’s Terrace. Plenty of room for all in this beautifully appointed abode. Indoor and outdoor living areas were enjoyed. Frequent strolls to the Hobart docks and other sites were rewarded with a variety of unique local experiences & produce. We’ll be back.

Victoria's Terrace is a beautiful, large 2 storey home. There is a wonderful outdoor deck area with weather protected furniture with easy access to indoor dining, kitchen etc. Comfortable, clean, well equiped for our 8 guests . We were warned parking could be a problem but we managed this and had 3 vehicles. Our host was very proactive any requests or questions were dealt with promptly
We had a fantastic week in Battery Point. Beautiful old house, fully renovated and well maintained. Plenty of separate spaces for family and kids to spread out. The front rooms were a little noisy in the evening but it was New Year’s Eve so can’t complain too much. Also we had two cars so parking was a little challenging at times, again mainly because it was a busy holiday week and the house is so close to Salamanca
The House has a nice character plenty of room for our group of eight. Convenient location to the market and stores. Just a few things to improve, a new good kitchen knife, fixing the wobbly dining bench, the broken light in the shower and dishwasher. To be honest one house key for eight people is not enough. The parking on the street a bit tricky however we can manage.Recommend for the family, definitely will stay again next time.
this property was terrific. Centrally located near the market, a bike shop, a great bar, and the best bakery in Australia. Having a car was a bit of a hassle during the week as you have to move it every three hours. However, once you got the system down. It was easy to figure out parking on battery point.
A group of 10 of us stayed here to celebrate my 50th birthday. The property was perfectly suited to 5 couples being spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished and well appointed; close to restaurants, pubs and cafes in Battery Point. Victoria’s’s Terrace is a lovely heritage property and we would love to come back for another stay.
Perfect for our family group of teenagers and adults with lots of bathrooms. Very spacious. Great location. Only negative was that the presentation from the street not great as garden was filled with weeds and fence could do with a paint. Backyard also overgrown with weeds.

Thanks for your review Dianne. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay at the house. We're keen gardeners, Hobart has just had a spell of wet weather so we didn't stay on top of the weeks however all attended to now.
Good location, clean and well appointed great eateries close by - would recommend.
