About this property

VB Boardwalk Getaway - 2b2ba - Long or short term!

Located a block and a half from the lively Virginia Beach boardwalk, our condo is in the perfect spot for an East Coast beach getaway! I love catching the sunrise over the ocean and following it up with a trip to Parlor Doughnuts, right around the corner. There is a keypad at the main entrance of the building as well as one for our individual unit, so you won't need a key. The pool can be enjoyed between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We lived here for just over a year - ask me for any recommendations!

The space
**Please note: In the summer, we only allow 6 or 7 day-long rentals that start on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If you would like to stay longer, we can work that out too. Thank you!**

The units at Playa Rana are individually owned but are similar in floorplan. Many operate as short-term rentals, but we have found the building and common areas to be pleasantly quiet and clean. (If you have a bigger group, you may be able to book multiple units!)

We purchased our unit in 2020 and gave it a little facelift at that time. The flooring and furniture are all new! We worked with a top interior designer who has worked on Parade Homes to choose the furniture, and we are positive you'll find the pieces comfortable, functional, and beautiful.

You'll enter through the keyless front door (close to the elevator) and see the kitchen - stocked for cooking - dining area, and living room. The table has 4 chairs, and there are 4 bar stools as well. We have a 60" TV for whenever you aren't at the beach or exploring. On the balcony you can relax in two deck chairs.

The first bathroom is spacious and has a shower. The first bedroom has twin bunk beds and a large mirrored closet for guest use.

The second bedroom (the master) also has a large mirrored closet, although this doubles as a laundry area. You’ll find the washer and dryer are intuitive and convenient. There is a sink / vanity area right across from the ensuite bathroom. This bathroom has a full tub and shower.

Guest access:
Guests will have private access to all areas of the condo. One closet is used for storage of cleaning supplies and will be locked. The pool is shared with the other guests in the building.

Other things to note:
We are open to both long and short term rentals during the off-season! We have had travel nurses, members of the military, and contractors stay with us for extended periods and had a wonderful experience with all of them. Please reach out with your specific circumstances and budget, and we will make every effort to accommodate you!

In the summer, we only allow 6 or 7 day-long rentals that start on Friday / Saturday / Sunday. If you would like to stay longer, we can work that out too :)

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please double-check that you have taken out the parking permit if you have it hanging in your car! You will be charged a $60 fee if we need to replace it.
Rinse beach chairs & equipment at the spigot by the pool and leave them leaning against the TV cabinet.
Pots & pans must be hand washed. You can leave any used towels in a pile on the floor. Let me know if anything broke or ran out during your stay!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

It would have been nice to have had a dresser or luggage racks in the large bedroom. We had to live out of our suitcases on the floor. There was no coffee table in the living room that is indicated in the picture. Ice maker does not work.Otherwise very pleasant place to stay. Close to everything.

The VB Boardwalk is a vibe!! We loved living here. The energy is infectious, but the condo provides a little oasis when you want to take a step back and just chill. We brought our first baby home to this condo, and it was a relief to be somewhere that we always felt safe and everything was convenient. There are so many great restaurants to choose from, fun events always happening, and you can’t beat the sunrises!
