Terrific apartment in the ideal location

  • 5 of 5

Peters apartment is perfect. Just the right size for 2 people to explore Amsterdam. Very clean and well maintained. And in a great location. located right on the edge of the canal areas, We were able to walk right into town every day. but at night (early morning) when it was time to sleep it was quiet and peaceful. A few blocks from Amsterdam central station also made getting in and out a breeze. Peter himself is a great host. Met us at the apartment to check in, gave us great info and even use of some train passes. Off you're looking for a place to stay, stop looking. You've found it

A great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was all that we had hoped for! It was clean and well appointed. It was within walking distance to public transportation for getting to the art museums and to church. It was also within walking distance to the Anne Frank house, a grocery store, and yummy restaurants. We loved being in a residential area that was quieter after a busy day on the streets of Amsterdam. We had everything we needed in this cozy place and we would stay there again! Our host, Peter, was delightful and very helpful as we got our feet under us in Amsterdam. He made us feel right at home.

Cozy and convenient

  • 5 of 5

Cozy and convenient. The beer and wine in the fridge were a nice touch! Comfy bed, good wifi and lots of TV channels for when it got rainy. Peter is a gracious host and we would highly recommend this place.

Well furnished and perfectly equipped home in hip and quiet part of the city.

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed staying at Peter's place.

Visited Amsterdam with a friend and the whole process went smoothly. Peter helped accommodate our later arrival as well as our super early morning check out.

The house was well equipped and well furnished. It certainly met/exceeded our expectations.

My friend and I thought the location was great- lots of boutiques and great food around the block. The Central Train station was quite close. We like to walk. Even though the touristy stuff was far, we walked. Public transport seemed easily accessible though. Local Bakeries across the street from the apartment supplied croissants and pastries that fueled our treks though the town.

Would definitely recommend this location if you want to be comfortable and have a well rounded experience in Amsterdam.

Beautiful apartment, fantastic host.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and in a perfect location. It is within walking distance of the Central Station and many other tourist sites. It is in a quaint neighborhood with a bakery, grocery stores and shops. Turn the corner from the apartment and there is a canal. Follow it down to the Anne Frank house for a nice morning walk. The apartment is in the perfect location for gaining an understanding of the friendly Dutch culture.

The most amazing thing about our stay was Peter, our host. He greeted us earlier than our check-in time and allowed us to stow our luggage while the apartment was readied. He also took the time to walk the neighborhood, pointing out areas of interest. He also provided us with cards for the public transportation and explained how to use it. Fresh fruit and wine awaited us, along with an amazing coffee maker and comfy bed.

Thank you, Peter for making us feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay in Amsterdam!
