Be sure to take advantage of the shaded downstairs area great for entertaining or relaxing, it is equipped with a bar area, BBQ grill, Picnic table and outside shower. When you are ready for some beach time, it's a short walk or golf cart ride away via the private neighborhood walkover. This home has amazing beach views. About RE/MAX on the Water - Bolivar
The owners currently live in Spring, TX. They graduated from Texas A&M University in 1990 and have 2 children. The wife grew up in Sour Lake, TX outside of Beaumont, TX and Crystal Beach was her 2nd home away from home as a child. Her family still lives and works in this area and has many lifelong memories here.

Growing up on the gulf coast, we have so many great memories renting a house & spending time here every summer with our family and friends. Crystal Beach and the Bolivar Peninsula are a unique part of the Texas Gulf Coast and my personal favorite! My parents now own a house in Crystal Beach and I always wanted to have a beach house of my own as well. That dream has come true and we would like to share it with you!

Great cabin! Would stay again
Loved this cabin. It had good access to the beach on foot or with a golf cart. No vehicle access in the sand castle addition, but that was fine with us.
The cabin has a beach view even though it is not front row. The porch is spacious, covered and breezy. The inside has beautiful finishes and an open concept living area. Kitchen and living are open to each other. Bedrooms are comfortable and well furnished. Bathrooms are VERY nice with large showers and a soaker tub in the master. We slept seven women and an infant very comfortably.
The only reason for my 4 stars....the guest bath toilet was not working properly. We asked for a repair and remax was quick to accommodate, but it was only fixed for a few flushes. We just avoided that toilet after that. I'm sure they would have sent someone out a second time, but it was our last night, so we just dealt with it. They were very friendly and helpful with this situation and they assured me they would get it fixed with a plumber. Still, we had one toilet and seven ladies, but it wasn't that big of a deal.
I would highly recommend this cabin, and I would most definitely stay here again.
Let me start by saying the house is beautiful! Absolutely adorable inside and out. It might be 3rd row but you still have amazing views of the ocean. We had 7 people in our party and the house was comfortable for us all.
Here’s the reason for the 3 star review... the plumbing! Upon entering the house I could smell the sand and salt and that’s fine but not sewer. The guest bathroom smelled like septic which is what it runs off of. The toilet backed up three times during my 5 day stay. There is a plunger there so clearly this has happened before. Anyway the smell killed it for me. Also, make sure you pack plenty of linens and pillows. They do provide blankets and pillows but the pillows are very flat. Another thing that would’ve been nice to know and I don’t remember seeing it openly expressed is that there is no beach access within that subdivision. If you plan on driving the beach you will have to drive a half a mile through another neighborhood to hit the beach. The neighborhood does have golf cart access but even that is a joke as one side is sinking fast making it difficult to get back to the house. Also make sure to bring any and all grilling tools you will need. They do have tongs available but not a grill brush. There definitely needs to be one there for future guests.
I feel that I would stay here again if the plumbing was addressed. Again, adorable property but terrible plumbing.
Great Times @ Crystal Peach!
We (a family of four including a 14 yr old & 11 yr old) had a great time on Port Bolivar, and the Crystal Peach was an integral part of that experience. It was exactly as described (maybe with some debate if it actually sleeps 8 or 9) and was the perfect distance from the beach - close enough to sit on the deck and enjoy the Gulf, yet far enough away to not be on display to everyone on the beach. The layout of the cabin was excellent - an outdoor shower, cooking area, and bar with a deck that wrapped around 3/4 of the upstairs... porch swing, picnic table, and high seated chairs to overlook the Gulf. The inside was not only clean, but updated in design and beautifully decorated.
We are blessed that the owners would make this available to rent, and plan on making it part of our next Crystal Beach/Port Bolivar experience.
Crabbing, fishing, local shrimp & fresh seafood available at local restaurants, golf cart rentals available, small water slide park nearby & Galveston, TX is a ride across the ferry.
