Self-contained 2 brm "smart" apartment in Bayside Brisbane

Comfort and modern convenience awaits you at “Tiddabinda” (Sister’s sitdown) – a contemporary urban Aboriginal styled 2 bedroom apartment. You have your own entrance, full sized lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms (both with queen sized beds) with family sized wardrobes. All mod cons including Foxtel, Telstra TV, Google Home and unlimited NBN high speed internet (wifi). This home is environmentally friendly, uses only toxic free products and is equipped with two air conditioners and ceiling fans everywhere. Smoking area is outside only.

Those quarantining for Qld Health COVID regulations do NOT have access to the bbq and pool area. You are restricted to your verandah and fenced front garden area.

We are situated in a koala corridor with many birds and wildlife. Wallabys are a short bush walk away. Please note there is a cat on the premises but she is contained and cannot get to the wildlife. There is a pool and bbq area in the beautiful backyard that is functional with comfy lounging area, dining area and cooking area. Please note this space is shared with one other Unit and therefore is NOT available to those quarantining.

There are many bush walks in the local area for you to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our region. Also close by are national parks, Koala Sanctuary (hospital) and coast lines.
Located in Capalaba, we are 7 mins from Chandler (home of the Sleeman Sports Complex and Belmont Shooting Range, 10 mins to Sirromet Winery, 20 mins to airport, 15 mins to Cleveland with ferry to Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) and 35 mins to CBD. Walking distance is the Capalaba Entertainment Precinct with two shopping centres, restaurants and cinemas as well as a major bus interchange providing public transport around Brisbane (45 minutes to the CBD of Brisbane).

Great home with all the amenities for a family stay

This was the best facility we stayed in our trip to Australia and New Zealand. The house had everything we needed and with the access to the pool and BBQ. Our hostess and Rachell was very helpful and gave some great advice during our stay. Very close to shopping as well.

Awesome Retreat

Tammy's house was awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice quiet area that is close to shopping and restaurants. Tammy's house is pet friendly and has all the comforts that makes it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommended and would definitely stay at Tiddabinda again.

We could not have found a better place to stay, the location was ideal, nice and quiet yet still not far from shops, parks and the city. The house was spotless and had everything you needed, including a pool. Would highly recommend.

Tammy is a great host from the minute I made the booking to the time the boys left. I have used a number of Stayz through out QLD and this is one of the best to date. Nice quite area, central to all major travel corridors so easy to get around and sight see. I will definitely be booking here again!

We & our 7month old pup had the most relaxing stay. Everything was easy including getting the run down of the property with Kristy. The pool out back was amazing & the whole property had a calming energy. The Aboriginal style of the property was original & fit with our passions & views. We’d definitely stay again. Great place to stay, clean and tidy and everything you could need.

Would definitely recommend this place to stay only a 10 minute drive to the Chandler pool easy to get around shopping centre just down the road.

Loved Tiddabinda!

Tammy was a fantastic host, and welcomed our family of three openly. We felt right at home with all the modern amenities in this well-appointed unit, and couldn't have asked for more! The coffee, tea and snacks were also a very nice touch. As an added bonus, Tammy was very accommodating when we asked if we could leave our luggage in the unit 2 nights prior to our official check-in date, as we would be out of town soon after our arrival into Australia and would be returning late at night. We spent a very comfortable two weeks at the property and wouldn't hesitate returning. Tammy was truly the perfect host, being attentive to our needs and communicating with us diligently! Thanks again Tammy for a great stay!
