Very relaxing setting. Enjoyed the animals and friendly visits from the dogs. Great for a weekend getaway that included a visit to JOLO Winery and Pilot Mountain State Park.

This is our second stay, and it was lovely. Our only recommendation would be that the outdoor furniture was able to be used. Weather was lovely but cushions were torn and unusable, so we couldn't go outdoors

House is very peaceful, we enjoyed watching all the farm animals. I would have given it 5 stars however, there are no window coverings in any of the bedrooms and while not needed in the living rooms, it would be nice to have for light blocking in the morning. Also there was not a single extra roll of TP. It wasn't worth asking for any as we were only there 2 nights.

My boyfriend and I rented this house with another couple for a weekend to attend a wedding in Dobson. The house is beautiful and is perfect for a large group. We loved that it was on a working farm and even bought a few things from their shop on our way out. Even though there are animals all over the property, the house was really quiet and peaceful. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is that upon arrival, we discovered that only the master bedroom has window coverings. The other two bedrooms don’t have any blinds, curtains etc so whoever sleeps in those rooms will have light pouring into the room as soon as the sun comes up. Other than the lack of blinds or curtains, the house was clean and well stocked and we really enjoyed our stay.

This truly was one of the best stays that we have ever been to. We had a wonderful time with family in such an at home feeling. The farm is absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed meeting and talking to the owners. This will definitely be on our list to come back and stay a little while longer.

The property was beautiful! The children really enjoyed seeing the farm animals. Another bonus was the peaceful environment and serenity of the surrounding area. The only downside was the hot tub was not up and running, which I was looking forward to a little soak after a many hours in the car. All being said I would definitely visit again!

This unique property is a very modern home which is well-appointed with top-end appliances and creature comforts while also providing a 'farm experience' with cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and horses. You can visit them up close or view from one of the covered porches. We also met the owner, who gave us a little insight to the workings of the farm. I would highly recommend this home for families with kids or to those who appreciate being in the country away from big city noises. It was the perfect place to rest after visiting the wine country of NC. If you go to The Depot at Cody Creek, go early or eat at the bar. Also consider a climb to the summit of Stone Mountain for a spectacular view.
