Melissa and her family were thoughtful, considerate guests. They left the cottage tidy and organized as they found it. Although not a prerequisite before check-out, Melissa and her family took the initiative to strip the beds, gather the used towels, and take out the trash. We appreciate the kind gesture especially as we had a short turn around on that day (back-to-back bookings). Exemplary guests who are welcome back anytime.

This property was very clean with good access to historic Williamsburg. The host did have more notes and rules than originally expected (dishwashing requirements, signing into the tv every time, etc). Nothing too restrictive, just a note on the particulars.

We had a great stay. By the time we arrived, we had spent 18 days on a road trip from California. Carriage House was like our home away from home. Everything was as-listed. Communication with our host was great. The house was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. The location was convenient to what we wanted to do. The water pressure in the bathrooms was not ideal - especially the guest bathroom. But knowing this, we would still stay here again. Thanks again for hosting us!

We are pleased to know our guests felt at home in Carriage Cottage. They followed check-out tasks and left the house the way they found it. The property is equipped with a German-made tankless water heater. These systems regulate water flow differently than traditional tanks to heat the water instantly. The lower pressure is a normal part of its design rather than a malfunction, ensuring you have an endless supply of hot water during your stay.
