A Country Place - The Chicken Coop è il luogo perfetto dove trascorrere un weekend rilassante lontano da tutto. Il piano principale ha una confortevole area soggiorno / sala da pranzo con TV e internet. Appena fuori dalla porta sul retro troverete un ponte rilassante circondato da alberi, creando un grande spazio privato per rilassarsi all'aperto. Rilassarsi nella vasca idromassaggio sul ponte posteriore è un must. Se sei abbastanza fortunato, potresti semplicemente vedere il cervo arrivare molto sul mais che ti rimane per nutrire il cervo. Al piano superiore c'è la camera da letto e il bagno. Il comodo letto matrimoniale è fantastico e ti permetterà di dormire notti rilassanti. Vieni in A Country Place e torna a casa rilassato e rigenerato.

A perfect spot for a couple wanting to get away from it all but still be close to a grocery store! This little cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed and a washer and dryer!! Very peaceful. This cabin is on a property with 6 or 7 other cabins but all are spread out enough that there is plenty of privacy. Our cabin had a nice hot tub with a semi private fence between us and the neighboring cabin. The cabin and property was clean and well maintained.

Beautiful quiet property close to Wimberly

The cabin was great, very quiet, lots of parking, nice hot tub and the balcony is a nice place to sit in the morning with coffee. I wish the bathroom was downstairs but that's ok. Great to have a pet friendly spot with room to walk around with them. Place is a bit worn, but it's a country cabin.

Great Honeymoon Cabin

Was extremely cute and comfortable! The hot tub is a very nice touch. Has everything you need for a nice weekend getaway. Very private and quiet. Highly recommended and we will be returning.

Perfect cabin retreat for our anniversary

We had the best time at this cozy cabin for our 6th anniversary. Grilled some steaks, enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy cabin was just perfect. We didn’t want to leave and most definitely will be coming back.

Great Weekend Getaway

This is our second time at the property with both stays being outstanding. We love that the cabins are close to town, but still far enough in the country that you are away from it all. The cabin has everything ypu need and the hot tub is excellent. This cabin is close to pne of the others but you are well screened in the back porch and have your privacy. Will definitely keep this at the top of our list for the Wimberley area.

The Chicken Coop

A charming little cabin in the woods. Perfect place to getaway and recharge. Hot tub was amazing and very romantic by the fire. Make sure to bring your own firewood or stop by the local HEB. Will definitely be staying here again!

The chicken co-op excellent getaway

Relaxing getaway. Close enough to town to enjoy Wimberley but far enough to enjoy a quiet country feeling. Stairs are extremely steep so if you’re over 6’2 be cautious. Bed was very comfortable. The chicken coop was more than we expected. Extremely clean.

24yr Wedding Anniversary Trip

It was close to town but also secluded. Other cabins/cottages were far enough away to where we still felt like we had privacy. Nice hot tub and grill in the back. We enjoyed a night in the hot tub and another day grilling. Other reviews mentioned the stairs to the bedroom. Narrow and steep, only an issue if you are older or have disabilities. The balcony upstairs was nice also. The sliding glass door didnt lock, but we were not worried. We truly enjoyed out stay!

Weekend stay

Was not clean, sink was yellow, dead bugs on the floor, fans dusty,cobwebs and red wasp everywhere!!! Had to buy spray to kill them. Messaged the owner and no response. Hot tub was hot but smelled. Then they want you to clean everything because they don’t charge a cleaning fee. Omg!! Was not happy I chose this cabin.

Substance and Potential

The place was very nice. We enjoyed Wimberley... such a popular place now! Updated kitchen appliances were handy. Host was responsive and clarified some confusion on written instructions as well as handled a couple requests exactly when promised. AC kept up just fine and hot tub was great. A few quirks: the stairwell is very narrow and I ended up carrying the dog downstairs since she is a clumsy poodle haha. This place would benefit from some updates such as new bedroom decking and rails. Newer TV would be beneficial. Overall, the place is very close to a true five star, but a few small things keep it from the threshold.

Cute little getaway

My boyfriend and I rented this property based on the reviews and how cute the pictures were. It was exactly how we thought it would be. Cute, small little place for 2 people. 3 would be a crowd. The area was nice and quiet. The stairs are very steep and small. The one thing we did not like was the bed. Upon seeing it for the first time, it looked like there was a small dent in the middle. Once we got into bed, you can definitely feel the dent. We would automatically get pulled to the middle of the bed. Almost felt like the bed was going to cave in. That bed definitely has seen better days. The sheets are super soft and comfy but the bed just pulls you to the middle. I would recommend a new bed and this place would be 5 stars!

Nice, but disappointing rodent problem

The first night we saw a mouse run from the stairs to behind the fridge. Then it ran in a hole under the door frame to the back yard. We also found mouse droppings in both baskets in the storage shelf next to the toilet. The last night we were there you could hear mice running around and digging in what im guessing the wall. I texted host and was told "thx, we will call an exterminator", which was disappointing because there was no apology or resolution for our stay. To find droppings in both baskets which had extra towels and toilet paper tells me that this has been an ongoing problem. Beyond that, the property was tucked away off the road. I didnt realize there were other houses on the lot. We had a neighbor fairly close by from the backyard but it was still private. The house is dated in some areas but still comfortable, not considering the mice problem. The hot tub was nice. Wish there was string lights in the back. a neighbor fairly close by.

Had such a wonderful time, it’s like a home away from home, had a great hot tub and fire pit, bed is super comfy! Will definitely be back when we need to rejuvenate again
