The Cabin is one of four solid rock cottages on the grounds of the historic Silver Spur Dance Hall!

This unique property offers a peaceful getaway set atop Rugh Hill. The dancehall offers an amazing view overlooking the Medina River and the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera, Tx. Woven into the storied fabric of Bandera and the Texas Hill Country, the Silver Spur Dance Hall is a place of legend and lore, and once the hottest spot for a Saturday night twirl on the dance floor.

Enjoy the roomy comfort of the Cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom featuring a Queen size bed and bay windows. Great for a romantic getaway, or just for some peaceful nights under spacious skies.

The separate bathroom has a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi tub. The large closet in the bathroom has an ironing board for your convenience.

Relax in the living room on the futon couch which can be used for extra sleeping accommodation.

Step out onto the patio for morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise, before setting out to explore Bandera and the Texas Hill Country.

The Cabin is located on Rugh Hill above the Medina River, allowing for a peaceful stay while being less than a mile from town for shopping, restaurants, and all the happenings.

This is an outstanding place to stay. Perched atop a hill just outside Bandera with the historical old dance hall, it is a quiet and serene place to relax. Beautiful Texas hill country and very scenic road to explore. You can’t go wrong!

The historic Silver Spur Dance Hall is set atop Mt. Rugh and overlooks the "Cowboy Capital of the World", Bandera, TX. Woven into the storied fabric of Bandera and the Texas Hill Country itself, the Silver Spur is a place of local legend and lore, and once the hottest dancehall for a Saturday night twirl around the dance floor.

Amazing sunsets provide mystical views and then give way to dark skies at night as the stars come out. There's something really special about Bandera, the Texas Hill Country, and history of the Silver Spur.

Before it was the Silver Spur Dance Hall, the floor of the dance hall was originally built as a dance patio for Mt. Rugh Courts. The courts offered stone cottages for travelers and tourists to rent for a hill country getaway, or to do some boot-scootin' on the patio.

Now, we are pleased to offer 4 of the original stone cottages of Mt. Rugh Courts for your stay while touring the Texas Hill Country and visiting the Cowboy Capital of the World, Bandera TX!
