About this property
Cozy & Quiet, dog-friendly 2-bedroom Upper in Central Milwaukee
The sweet, warm and cozy upper is centrally located in MKE, with easy access to the interstate. Ideally situated near the zoo, stadium, state, fair, and area attractions. Close to great restaurants, shopping, and lovely coffee shops. This is the upper of a duplex, with hardwood and tile floors throughout. The master BR has a queen size bed, the second BR has a double bed. Additional features include great closet space, big windows to let in the morning sun, USB charging ports, smart TVs, and blackout curtains in both bedrooms. Perfect for traveling professionals and short stays alike. There is a private, fenced-in backyard, which is great for children and pets (shared with the lower unit). One garage space is included for a small to medium sized vehicle. Free laundry is in the basement. No parties of any kind are allowed. And, lastly, please kindly understand that we have a zero tolerance policy for discrimination, hate, or confrontational behavior. Because our home is often a destination for traveling professionals because of nearby hospitals and businesses, we have quiet hours set from 9 PM to 7 AM. About the host
Hosted by Lorinda Flores
I am a gentle soul who is outgoing & loves to bake, read, & spend time w/ family & friends. I am a mother to 3 young adults who shine. I am an alumni to MIAD, studied Interior Architecture, was an Arch Lighting Designer most of my career, & am now a Montessori Directress. I enjoy all things outdoors like gardening, camping and/or hiking. But I especially love to travel (which prompted me to add a listing here as a Host). WELCOME TO MY HOME!
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is right up the block from the Hank Aaron State Trail. It is a 14-mile paved (continuous east-to-west) connection from the shores of Lake Michigan to the Milwaukee/Waukesha county line. It's beautiful, safe, and scenic.
What makes this property unique
My home is in a quiet neighborhood near the Zoo, the Brewer Stadium, WISC State Fair Park fairgrounds, a plethora of parks for running and hiking and playing, many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. Medical students love that it's near so many hospitals, and business professionals like that it has easy on/off the freeway.
