Kamaole Sands #7-304 is a 1 Bd 2 Bath unit with a great location in the complex. It has a tropical garden view with a "peek-a-boo" ocean view. The unit has a full kitchen, a/c in the living room and bedroom, a washer/dryer, Cable T.V./DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi service. There is a king bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in the living room. Kamaole Sands #7-304 sleeps up to 4.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Nice. Room for improvement.

Overall the condo was nice. But, it desperately needs updating. The shower doors had not been cleaned in a while. We were therefor over 2 weeks and got the same amount of welcome products as someone staying 5 days., Kleenex was not provided at all. Overall we enjoyed it. Hope they add a beach wagon to the beach closet too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were only in unit 7-304 for three nights because we couldn’t get unit 10-205 for our full vacation. We have been in this unit at least twice before and we’re somewhat disappointed that not much has been updated. The kitchen cupboard doors and drawers are in the same poor condition as in 2014. The patio furniture is not very comfortable compared to unit 10-205 or unit 1-105. We do love staying at Kamaole Sands and are booked again for April 2024 Thanks to the rentalsmaui staff who always help us plan and book our vacations!

Always enjoy Kamaole Sands

Kamaole Sands is our favorite place to stay. The condo was clean, well prepared and cozy. It had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The location and view were pleasant and peaceful. The host was very easy to contact and was very nice and attentive. We look forward to our next visit.

Disappointment

Upon first entering, everything looked great, but upon further use, we discovered much disappointment. *there is an ant problem in the kitchen and bathrooms; despite ant traps all over, there were tiny ants everywhere. *there were multiple dishes in the kitchen that were very dirty. One cup had stuck on food stuff still in the cup and multiple other dishes felt greasy. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and on the first day that we got there I spent a few hours of our vacation cleaning the kitchen and cupboards. *the kitchen also lacked certain basic items one would expect for cooking. There was NO spatula so making scrambled eggs was difficult. The frying pans were extremely flimsy and one was actually bent up. All the knives were extremely dull and made food prep very difficult. There was a total lack of standard kitchen equipment and very difficult to make basic things like salads or marinate some chicken. *the air conditioning unit in the living room area did not work very well at all so it was hot in the condo most of the time. The AC in the bedroom DID work so we just relaxed in there when we were in the condo. *the unit lacked a decent amount of clean linens for a weeks stay. There were only TWO washcloths and TWO pool towels. We were also only given one laundry detergent so to need to re-wash our condo linens mid week used up the one detergent we had. *the dryer didn’t work well. Even after cleaning out the lint trap, it took multiple drys to get stuff dry. It was clear that the dryer needed to have lint vacuumed out perhaps on the dryer tube too. My husband and I were on vacation with other friends who had gotten other condos also in this complex and all those other condos were much better equipped, well stocked, and much cleaner. Considering the travel restrictions with COVID, we knew that eating out at restaurants would be limited with both limited seating as well as our desire to avoid big crowds of people. We had high expectations of being able to cook/make family style dinners with our larger group of friends and were highly disappointed with how dirty and poorly stocked this kitchen was.

The resort is nice and secure. The garden is well kept and the pool is very nice. The condo in which we stayed clearly needs some upgrades. The appliances and fixtures are old and in need of repair. It could also use some paint and the AC needs to be cleaned. The bedroom AC (which was an external/portable unit) had a birds nest in the exhaust hose. I had to remove the hose and plug the hole with a plastic bag. Fortunately, I did not need the AC during my stay in May. Overall the unit was ok, but not great. There are better options at this price point.

Great location

This unit has undergone some updating but could use more work on the cabinets. We appreciated the air conditioner in the bedroom to cool it down for sleeping. This is the only unit of the 20+ units we’ve stayed at in this property that have had that. We love Maui and Kamaole Sands, but may have to look elsewhere in the future because the prices have taken such a jump in the past few years. Sadly, the dollar exchange for us Canadians is making it so much less affordable.

The value of this place is very high, as air conditioning in the place enables a nice cool stay while in Kihei. The unit is walking distance from Kamaole Beach Park 3, Fred’s Mexican Kitxhen, Moose McGillicuddys, Coconut’s. Garbage chute right outside the door to the unit, and functional barbecues are shared just below. We really enjoyed our stay.

It is right across the street from a great beach, it's a short walk down the street to great restaurants and shops. The unit has a comfortable bed, a full kitchen, and beach toys. The only down fall is the AC. It has AC, but it is on a timer in the bedroom, so you have to wake up every 4 hours to reset it and you're asked not to use it in the living room area.

Holiday in paradise.

We've stayed at Kamaole Sands many times over the past several years in a few different units. I particularly enjoyed this units location with it's view of the garden area. The unit itself was well equipped and clean. I was also very happy with the management's help in the booking process. We'll be back again soon.
