Exceeded our expectations. Plenty of space for four. Easy check in. Full kitchen and laundry, fast wifi, and an absolutely unbeatable view. We brought everything with us but we found that the market just up the way was nice and there was a cafe and coffee shop as well. Not to mention a Safeway close by in Tillamook. Plenty of towels and bedding. And easy relaxed check out when it was time to head home. We hope to be back!

Although it is a bit dated & quirky, it was clean & oh my!....the view was amazing! Definitely will stay again if the need arises again. The ability to communicate with the host was a huge plus! Thank you!

the crab shack has its ups and downs but it has a beautiful view and lovely sunsets. the kitchen is pretty well stocked with stuff. I always take my pans I cook in a lot and my knifes. I like sharp knifes to peel potatoes. all in all it was good.

This property is a disaster. There is not a single area that isn't soiled beyond cleaning or in need a major repair. Rusted baseboard heater, filthy rugs and furniture, cracked plaster walls, wood baseboard trim rotted. The booking agent - Casago - referred the problem to their "local team", who NEVER contacted me. We would have left immediately but every accommodation in the surrounding area was booked. Yes, it is a great location, but we didn't spend a single moment there other than to sleep because of the filth and horrible condition of the property. THE WORST vacation rental EVER.

The host is very communicative. This property is basic and cute, very close to the bay - so convenient for spending time on the beach. The Wi-Fi did not work and the cellular service in this part of the coast is nearly non-existent for many cellular providers.

Quin supplied us with a safe comfortable place to sleep, great view, we only used the accommodations as a place to sleep between dawn until dark fishing days

Although it didn’t have the personal touch of other Vrbos that we have stayed in it had the basics we needed. There was enough dishes and utensils for the two of us but not for a family. We didn’t have the ant problem as described by others and the customer service was excellent with quick personal responses. The bed was comfortable and the view was spectacular! I would recommend getting any groceries needed in Tillamook as the nearby market has convenient store prices. We will definitely be back!!

The view is unbeatable. Gorgeous views from the deck and living area of Netarts Bay. We appreciated the binoculars available so we could spot the deals across the bay! We appreciated having the washer and dryer for our use. Parking a little confusing as the neighboring property tenants had to tell us the parking space needed to be shared with them. The property was fine with us, was clean, had plenty of linens available, etc. but feel the property needs updating as the carpet has stains, paint is peeling in spots, the light fixtures need replacing. We felt unaffected by any of the suggested need for improvements listed above but feel in order to give an honest review, we should include

Beautiful beach vacation

This house was just right. It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfy, and it is right on the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family to sleep and hang out watching a movie and playing games. I would stay here again.

A rather shabby cabin at the end of a rather shabby street but the shabbiness is quickly forgiven when you see the spectacular ocean view from the deck, the living room, and one of the bedrooms !

Great location, beautiful view, decent water pressure, all essentials you need in the kitchen. Dirty dishes, dirty grimy blinds, musty and worn in, and ants. Someone responded quick when we noticed ants in one area and they came to spray. Then there ants covering one of the beds, so one room became unusable for the night. It’s an old well loved house and we appreciate the space being shared. I wouldn’t choose stay here again however.

Beds were comfortable, view great but it stops there. First and foremost there was no internet for our entire 3 day stay. We messaged and called numerous times with no success. The info book urged us to call for help if anything was needed….no live body to talk to. We ended up with much difficulty calling the internet provider ourselves, but a technician was to be dispatched the day after we left. So much other stuff: janky everything - not enough tableware, pots heavily scratched inside. No condiments at all - nothing, not even salt and pepper. No shampoo etc. not enough towels for six adults. Broken shades, weird light fixtures, dirty carpet, electric fireplace didn’t work - there was probably a remote for it but we couldn’t find it. Second toilet was in the back utility room crammed between the laundry sink and the washer.Just being honest

Our team arranged for a technician to visit on July 27, after your departure, and offered a refund to account for the unavailable internet service. We’re also sorry that the kitchen supplies, towels, window coverings, and other aspects of the home did not meet your expectations. If your travels bring you back to the area, we’d appreciate the opportunity to provide a stay that better reflects the comfort and experience you were hoping for.

The Crab Shack

Excellent location in the tiny town of Netarts. All the needed amenities close by. Amazing ocean views with fabulous sunset vistas every evening. Loved it! Would stay again.
