We enjoy the size of the property. It is a nice walking area with beach path and street side walking as option when path is at peak. Having a full kitchen is a wonderful option on a longer stay.

This place was great all the way around. Well appointed, clean, great property and location! Owner had great communication and was easy to interact with. I wish they had a second one with 2 bedrooms to enjoy with friends, but we will be back to this location if we find ourselves back on Maui.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property exceeded our expectations and this is the 3rd condo we have stayed in at The Whaler. The condo had EVERYTHING you will need. I cannot say enough great things about this property. Great location, spacious, has absolutely everything you will need, super clean, great view and comfy relaxing vibe. We have stayed at 5 star properties all over the world and travelled extensively for business- this is our #1 favourite accommodation. The unit is beautifully decorated and well appointed; property management first class. The balcony alone, with sun exposure most of the day, is almost as large as sq footage of hotel rooms at the Westin resort. The location of the Whaler is ideal for the right mix of beach, perfectly landscaped grounds, and steps away from shopping and restaurants.

Great stay at the Whaler

This is the best of the four Whaler units we have stayed in (so far). Love the location. The remodel and furnishings are top notch. We even used the beach umbrella that was on the lanai. Cindy was extremely helpful in getting us set up for our stay. We hope we’ll be able to return to 519 in the future. Mahalo.

Cindy was very easy to communicate with, friendly and accommodating. We don’t usually get to meet the owners or managers so it was a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets from the convenient tables in the bbq area. We would definitely rent this unit again!

Great room with a great view!

My son and his wife with 2 young kids stayed in this room. Room had all the amenities with a great view. The Whaler is awesome with a fantastic beach. Unit could use a little updating (maybe new couch) but everything worked great and the person managing it, Cindi, was fantastic and checked in with us to make sure everything was great. Would highly recommend this place!

Maui Marathon Trip

I booked this unit while going to the island for the Maui Marathon, it was conveniently located near the starting line. The unit was beautiful with an incredible location surrounded by shops, restaurants and the grocery store. I enjoyed many home cooked meals with fruits from the farmers markets on the huge patio. The views were stunning. The staff were were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to booking again next April!

Great place for a family of 4+!Condo has everything as other reviews. Zero issues, 5* for the view, laundry, fans and water pressure! Best location, between Black Rock and Whalers Village you have everything that is needed for great beach days, just watch for the turtles. The 6 grills (spotless) could save family’s from the restaurants it’s 10 min from Foodland and Safeway. Cindy’s condo, Turo Kuuleilani’s car, Whalers grounds, Kapalua zip lines, Tamura‘s poke’ 5*. Wow!

This newly remolded unit is stunning! Everything is top notch. The location is wonderful - we saw so many whales from the balcony. Cindy, the manager, is friendly and helpful. She will do anything to help if you have a need. Don't worry about bringing basics on the first day (other than coffee). Toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags, dishwasher pods and laundry pods all provided. We would love to stay here again.

The convenience of a mall right next door on the ocean with wonderful restaurants, bars and music, golfing out the back door, snorkeling 2 doors away at famous Blackrock and a beautiful SANDY beach! Boats load and unload for excursions right out in front on this sandy beach!
