It was not disclosed that a long term tenant was in the lower level. It was presented as renting the entire house for me, my husband, 4 children plus spouses and 7 grandchildren. We found out when he walked past us carrying 3 bottles of alcohol. He had a separate entrance but had full access to our balconies and windows. I didn’t know this man and have teenage girls I wouldn’t let go outside without an adult. I could clearly see into his screened porch from our balcony as he could see us grilling or lounging. The house was secluded from neighbors by trees. Mouse droppings in the kitchen and mouse holes in upstairs bedroom. Dishwasher was not working properly so we had to wash everything by hand before and after use. Toilet seats loose. Upkeep on property not impressive. The views were awesome. Will definitely visit the Ozarks again, but unfortunately not this property.

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your stay! It is our goal to keep guests happy and safe at our property and we like to ensure that promise. Our long term tenant in the lower level has a separate entrance and no access to balconies or windows of the main house. This is no different than a neighbor at an apartment. We are so sorry his personal activities in the comfort of his own space, made you and your family feel uncomfortable. Helpful and kind messages about small maintenance items would be appreciated, so we could get someone out to fix those during or after your stay. As far as mouse droppings we have had no sightings thus far and will get an exterminator out as soon as we can. Thank you so much for your feedback!

The setting was stellar on the cliff overlooking the water. The bedrooms and private bathrooms were ideal for a multi family gathering. The large eating area was perfect for a big group. Parking was very convenient. The pool was close and very nice. We look forward to coming back, it was a dream location and having so many balconies to enjoy the view was ideal.
