Sweet little spot in great location

My kids and I stayed here for four days. The neighborhood is really nice and there’s lots of shops within walking distance. The parking wasn’t great so we parked and used Uber so we didn’t lose our spot. The beach is about a 20 minute walk, and the walk is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

It was a great weekend getaway. We were in town to visit our student at SDSU. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, coffee and shopping. The beach was a 15-20 min walk. The place was clean and comfortable.

Very clean and had every thing you could need for a comfortable stay. A quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the beach, boardwalk, grocery store and more. One of the nicest and most complete rentals for a home away from home. I would definitely rent it again.

Spring break in Pacific Beach

Really enjoyed my stay. The local area is great, with the beach and stores, restaurants, etc. in walking distance. Public transportation is convenient for exploring further away. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

San Diego Visit

This was a perfect property, just 5 blocks from where my son and his wife live and very private. The place was neat, clean and exactly as the owners represented. My wife and I will be going down to visit at least 2-3 times per year and hope to stay at the same place.

Nice and quiet.. Manager there if you need him, we didn’t. Everything was clean, and the air conditioning and bedroom fan was real nice. Would like to come back, hope it is still available.

Close to where we needed to be. Liked a separate bedroom. Spider webs in bathroom and not so clean rug in front of the tub. Rug in the living room needs a good vacuum ing. Mattress pad on the bed. Other areas were spotless and neatly organized.

Your feedback is essential to us, and we've relayed your comments to the homeowner, who would like to address the following:-Our cleaning service is typically very thorough, but we understand that occasional discrepancies may arise. In the event that a guest is dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment, our cleaning service is more than willing to return to rectify any issues, provided the guest reports the matter to us. However, in this particular case, the guest did not inform us of any concerns regarding cleanliness.-Additionally, we want to assure you that we have replacement items such as furniture and quilts readily available, and we would have been happy to replace any damaged items had we been made aware of the issue. Regrettably, the guest did not bring any such issues to our attention. Nevertheless, we will promptly replace these items to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our future guests.Our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all our guests is evident in the satisfaction of numerous others who have stayed with us.

Cute apartment. Only 5 units. It’s walkable to beaches but not recommended after a long day in the sun. It would be up hill with all your belongings. Accommodations were average. Thin pillows. No sheets for the hide-a-bed. Very little cookware if you planned on making meals. Plenty of towels but a little too much bleach. Lots of shops (grocery too), restaurants, and tattoo shops around. Awesome little ice cream place around the corner. Street parking wasn’t bad. Mostly quiet at night.

Everything great! Except…

The bed, the single most important part of a unit. Unfortunately there is no place to upload a picture. The mattress has a piece of foam rubber on top. Clearly that is done to make an uncomfortable mattress more comfortable. It failed. Terrible mattress=poor sleep. Not good. Otherwise this is a great place. Location is excellent, clean and comfortable and easy access.

Did not even stay there.

This place looked cozy and cute but was not. First, I had to walk 2 blocks with my suitcase because there was very little to no street parking available. Getting in wasn’t a problem but, when I got in, there was a crummy couch and a smallish tv in the living room. There was a security screen door with a lock, but the front door had none. I just did not feel safe thee so I left and found a hotel. Expensive mistake!

Sue, we're sorry to hear that your stay fell flat of your expectations. This is the first time the homeowner has received this type of feedback from a guest. The owner wants to note that steel framed security doors with deadbolt locks are not just screen doors, and they are installed in this unit because they provide much more security than a typical wood framed door. It did was it was supposed to but there were old contact lenses left all over the house and none of us wear contacts, lots of spider webs, dust and dirt. It was fine because we were never there and the location was great but we never felt clean

Great Sister Retreat!

The apartment was exactly as described - perfect size for 2 people. Easy to find parking on quiet street and so nice to walk into the private courtyard to the apt - gave a great feeling of privacy as well. The apt was clean and included all the basics needed for the weekend, living room furniture may need a little updating soon, but the bed was super comfortable! Open both doors for cross-breeze, and close bed door w/air conditioning for max comfort! Grocery stories walking distance, and a great bike rental as well. 10 min walk to either ocean or bayside. Will definitely return to this rental!

The place met most of our needs. I recommend cover on sofa bed mattress be replaced. It was very dirty with large sweat stains. Also upgrade bath towels. They are old and not of good quality.

Found ourselves centralized for any entertainment that we could imagine. From the zoo to some of the best chicken wings ever and then shopping in Coronado. Coming back to the comfort of our apt.was a great . our vacation was more than we expected.

If it was nearer the beach I would stay here again

I had issues with the screen door lock although eventually realised there was nothing wrong with it and was very secure. Totally disagree with another review that said she went to a hotel because of the door. I was on my own and felt totally safe. Didn't hear from the property manager until late that evening and I think that was only because I was sat outside when he came home. But Mike the owner got back to me straight away and explained the door issue. I would certainly recommend staying here, very clean, quiet safe neighborhood, and all in all I had a fantastic week. Could have been more sun but don't suppose I can blame a human for that!
