Dear Mike,This is the owner of the house ;the one that welcome you with homenade bread,maps and all Info about the área,or as you call me "the people you interacted with".. Your 2 complaints were cleaning and wc odour. I am a meticulously person myself with the cleaning,checking 3-4 times with the cleaning lady before guests arrive.And only leaving a vase of flowers in each room after it is all `perfectly check.I wish you tell me before and I would have send you cleaning lady inmediately. Toilet odour,apologizes but we did not relized that,and neither guests before you,otherwise we check it with a plumer.It can be a pipe block,and these things can happen. We maintain and check the outside septic tank that all country houses must have and we have to do it with a specialized company every year by law. Washing machine,again apologize as it was not fairly new,but it worked properly,we bought a new one after your complain.Washing machine you use is exclusively for guest use.Please do not draw erroneus conclusions if you see other cloth.We have a laundry with 3 washing machines, as our farm has 4 safary tents that fits 20 guests and 4 workers. Also for the future guests information.The house was partially renovated this spring 2018 when our mother transferred to my sister and me.A pity you did not see our effor not only economically.All house windows are new, painted inside and most important outside in full,new showers with shower screens and new wc tank ,new towels and home linen,new matresses in all beds,renovation of the fire place,sitting room floor and last room ceiling,new fridge, new 4 gas stove, new oven and all electrical items in the kitchen like toaster,kettle,cookware,microwave.And finally changing in decoration like bedroom curtains, porch sofa cushions and pool loungers. I tried to do my best every time you ask for printed documents,for sealing things with silicon and even when you phone at 23.30 in the night to tell me you had 8 ants in 1 room we went to put ants powder. A pity that your family did not even say good bye to us on your departure day. Anyway thank you for coming.
