Very satisfied with our stay.House was clean. Owner was very responsive to txt/calls. The entryway was covered with trees and when pulling onto the driveway it opens up to a private getaway. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, well-equipped home. Kind host. Boat house is awesome and kayaks are easy to get to. Only regret is I wished I asked about pontoon rental beforehand. So be sure to do that. I will definitely stay there again!!!!!

Solid place! Super charming and rustic like you would expect. Reminds me of an old-school Lake house, but much nicer and way more comfortable. The place was clean and looked like it is kept well in between rentals. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything you’d expect to get started and then some. AC worked well, but the ceilings are tall so you’ll definitely want to kick the fans on immediately to help cool things down more quickly. Outside temperature was in the 90s during the day at low 70s at night. Water pressure was good in the master. Didn’t check the others. Toilets all flushed well, with no issues. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and signal seemed strong with very little lag while watching football games on YouTubeTV. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows and towels. We were only there for two nights for a Clemson game so we didn’t need much while we were there but if you’re planning to stay for longer, make sure you get everything you need while you’re in town because it is a good drive to get back to the nearest store. I would definitely rent this place again.

We enjoyed our stay at Preston’s home. It is a Great Lake cabin. It was great to have a boat to explore the lake.

Great lake location

We had a wonderful time. The location on the lake was great and having access to a boat at the house was a real bonus. The walkway through the boathouse might be tricky for kids.

We absolutely enjoyed every part of our stay! From the beautiful views, ample parking and comfy bed! We had a family gathering for my graduation and we were able to enjoy each other and accommodate all of us! We also had so much fun floating and swimming in the lake! I would highly recommend this place for a great getaway!!!

Great Lake Hartwell Location

We loved this place. It was rustic but well appointed, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for a group of 5 adults, and Preston was a very responsive and accommodating host. We were happy we opted to rent the pontoon boat and had a great stay. Would highly recommend it.

Great Clemson weekend

Stayed here for a Clemson admission tour and football game. The place is a cute log cabin with a great house layout. We enjoyed the kayaks and floating off the dock. The price point matched the home features and we had a great time. Thanks for the great TV options too.

What a nice home on SUCH a great part of the lake! House was clean and had everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and super nice. Renting the boat went very well, fun and peaceful boat rides. What a nice few days of family time.

Christmas with Family

This visit was to rest and fellowship with my family. We spent four days (3 nights) at the lake house. Although it was super cold, I believe everyone enjoyed themselves. Preston has awesome neighbors!

Great place to stay!

My wife and I stayed with our two adult sons and their wives for a relaxing getaway. The house was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured in the listing. Having the pontoon available to rent, and ready to go when we arrived was so convenient and gave us extra time to enjoy the lake. Preston was great! Communication was excellent and he went out of his way to accommodate us! We will definitely rent here again.

Great Time on the Lake

The house worked perfectly for our family - mom, dad, and 4 kids. Plenty of space for us to relax, and great to have a fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals and a screened in porch to avoid bugs while eating. We also rented Preston's pontoon boat for the week - absolutely worth it - we used it every day for tubing and fishing. Preston was extremely responsive to any questions we had leading up to the trip and very nice.

Enjoyable Labor Day Weekend

Our family (6 adults, 3 dogs) greatly enjoyed our stay at Preston's lovely home on Lake Hartwell for the long Labor Day weekend. The house was very clean upon arrival, check-in was easy, and the house was comfortable for us all. Preston was very responsive and helpful on any questions, both prior to and during our stay. We brought two boats and had a wonderful time fishing and relaxing on some of the many "beaches" you can easily find near the house. We would definitely like to come again for another long weekend!
