The home was just as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings getting to know some broad tailed hummingbirds. We also saw mule deer and several other bird species from there. The location was great for us. We visited areas from Colorado Springs to Breckenridge. A easy drive to the touristy areas. Close to hiking trails. Great place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Thanks Brooke! So glad that you guys had a great time at the cabin!
The hosts were amazing. They were very accommodating and responded quickly to questions. The house is amazing! There is plenty of space, we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The property is huge, with a lot of areas for the kids to be outside playing. The firepit is another nice perk. There are a lot of seats around it and the cup holders were handy lol. If you are looking for a great place to stay, that’s away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to get anything you need, I highly recommend this house!

Thanks Halee! So glad you all had a fantastic time.
From making our reservation, through walking through the doors, going through our days until check out, it was apparent these hosts have taken the ultimate care to create a positive user experience for staying in their home.Everything we needed for our stay was there for us. The cabin is beautiful! I had brought pre-cooked meals for our family, but everything I needed to heat and serve them was available. Had I wanted to cook there, I know I could have or grilled on the very nice large outdoor grill provided. The refrigerator / freezer is better than mine at home!Mattresses were good, as was the shower. The view of Pike's Peak is AMAZING! We also enjoyed the firepit and making s'mores with our grandkids. We watched movies from both the top and bottom living spaces -- TVs worked great! My grandson enjoyed "enhancing his game" with the pool table and our younger one had fun on the backyard zip-line and playing with his RC car outdoors. The location was great! From Florrisant (which is beautiful!) we were able to drive to a BLM OHV Trail; a 2nd OHV Trail; hiking at nearby Garden of the Gods - as well as enjoying the darling nearby town of Manitou Springs (and of course, the Manitou Springs Brewing Co.) We only needed one trip to WalMart but had our choice of one in Woodland Park or Colorado Springs. We finished our stay at the Black Bear Diner right down the road.We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin that is "just rustic enough" with uptown elegance and creature comforts!

Thank you Lori, sounds like you all took full advantage of the cabin amenities and the amazing things to do surrounding the Pikes Peak region. Glad you all had an amazing time!
We had a great time and the cabin was awesome!! Three deer greeted us when we arrived. The deer came back almost everyday for the week we stayed. There is plenty of entertainment downstairs with a pool table and games. We also enjoyed the hot tub on the bottom floor. We will make it back in the future!!
