Rustic Charm & Cozy Comforts (Chalet sur Des campeurs)
Welcome to your waterfront escape, where the season sets the pace.
Spring brings the lake back to life—morning mist, flowing water, and quiet coffee on the deck as everything begins to bloom. As early summer settles in, the days stretch longer, perfect for swimming, paddling, and slow evenings outside.
And when the air cools just a little, you’ll feel that first hint of autumn—cozy layers, warm drinks, and fires by the water with the lake always in view.
Cold plunge in the lake, paddle along quiet shores, or simply slow down and take it all in.
Savor the view from the deck, fire up the BBQ, stargaze from the dock, or enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, books, and games for quiet nights in.
Just 40 minutes from Ottawa/Gatineau with easy, flat parking.
Our charming vertical log cottage is thoughtfully renovated to blend rustic character with modern comfort.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and gather—tea and coffee are on us.
A dedicated office corner with high-speed internet and a TV with Chromecast makes it easy to stay connected if needed.
The open living space invites you to unwind, while three bedrooms (two doubles and one king) offer a restful night’s sleep. A pull-out couch is also available.
Outside, the space opens up to the lake. Swim or paddle from the floating dock, enjoy time on the deck with the BBQ and fire table, or gather around the firepit under the stars. The primary bedroom’s private access to the yard offers a quieter spot to step outside.
Everything you need to enjoy the season—at your own pace.
Conveniently located, you’ll find grocery stores, spas, hiking trails, beaches, and local shops—all within a 20-minute drive.
Experience the perfect blend of adventure and tranquility!

Getting here by car is easy
You may park up to two vehicles under the deck and another one on the driveway, but you must leave the laneway clear at all times.
Affordable, limited "on demand" public transportation service connects from Gatineau (it's a 25 minute walk from the highway to the cottage). See the Transcollines (.ca) website.
Taxi Loyal serves the area, but having your own car is the best way to get here.
Important
There are a few steep and short steps inside the cottage between the living room, washroom and dining room.
Please use caution when using the outdoor stairs to the main door, especially when they are wet.
