Welcome to Bear Den! The private, modern escape tucked away in the Wardsboro woods. It is incredibly secluded, perfect if you really want to disconnect. I love sitting in the screened-in porch right next to the hot tub or curling up by the fireplace under the skylights. It’s cozy, well-furnished, and feels miles away from everything while still being close to the mountains and resorts. ☀ Mount Snow: 11 min ☀ Stratton Mountain Resort: 17 min ☀ Grout Pond: 15 min ☀ Wilmington Village: 25 min
THE SPACE - HIGHLIGHTS ☀ Private Hot Tub (right next to the screened porch!) ☀ Secluded location in the woods (very private) ☀ Wood-burning fireplace with skylights overhead ☀ Screened-in porch for bug-free relaxing ☀ Coffee Lover’s Setup: Drip, Keurig, French Press, AND Pour Over!
THE VIBE I call it `Bear Den` because it feels like a cozy hideaway, but it’s actually quite modern and bright. The living room has cathedral ceilings and skylights that let in tons of natural light. My favorite feature is the screened-in porch: it connects the dining area to the hot tub deck, so you can hang out outside without worrying about bugs in the summer.
KITCHEN & DINING The kitchen is modern but rustic and fully equipped for cooking family meals. I take coffee seriously, so I’ve stocked a drip maker, a Keurig, a French Press, and a Pour Over set - take your pick! The dining table seats 6, plus there are 6 more spots at the breakfast bar.
BEDROOMS & SLEEPING (Sleeps 8) There are 3 bedrooms, all on the main floor (so no hauling luggage up stairs!). • Primary Suite (`The Green Room`): King bed, en-suite bath, and a desk if you need to work from home. • Bedroom 2 (`The Burgundy Room`): A comfortable queen bed. • Bedroom 3 (`The Blue Room`): This is the bunk room with 2 twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total) - great for kids or friends.
BATHROOMS (2 Total) • Primary En-suite: Shower only. • Main Hall Bath: Shared by the other rooms, features a Tub/Shower combo.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS The house is surrounded by woods, so it feels very private. The deck features the hot tub, and in the summer, there is a fire pit in the backyard for s`mores. (Note: The fire pit gets buried in snow during winter, so it`s a summer-only perk!).
REVIEWS I just started renting out the place, but this is not my first rodeo. Here are what some past guests at another property had to say: “Great communication from before our trip to after, very responsive in general.“ - Haley “Tommy was a great host and very responsive.” - Veronika “Tommy has gone above and beyond in his offering, service, and communication.” - Greg
GUEST ACCESS ✔ Parking for 8 cars in the driveway ✔ Self-check-in with your own door code ✔ You will have private access to the home and grounds to yourself. Just a heads up: I do have a few closets and the basement utility areas locked off for storage, but the main living spaces are all yours.

This is Vermont, after all. ✹ No smoking. ✹ Please note that upon booking, I`ll ask you to e-sign a rental agreement. By booking, you agree to complete this step immediately post booking or the reservation may be canceled. ✹ No parties or events without prior approval. ✹ PETS: The place is pet friendly! There is a pet fee. Cleaning after pets stay typically takes much longer. If the pet fee isn`t collected automatically when you book, please reach out and we can take care of it.
