We had a large corporate group use the home for a two day off-site event. The property offered great amenities and activities for our team events and plenty of space for the team to relax and enjoy each other. Everything was clean and well taken care of and we would highly recommend the house for large families or group events that want to enjoy Lake Norman.

Our stay at Lion's Manor was excellent. The house is well kept, stocked with all essentials and in a great location on Lake Norman for boaters. I would highly recommend and will be rebooking next year.

Wow, perfect house, exceeded our expectations! We were there with our office team of 13 and did a lot of cooking and dining outside and loved it. House in very good shape and very clean. Southern Charm team is extremely responsive and helpful.

Family retreat

This is an amazing property and a great location. The cove is quiet and the kids enjoyed taking out the kayaks and paddle boards without concern for large wakes from motor boats or jet skis. Getting our boat there and docking at the house was super easy, i do wish the boat slip was covered but that is really the only thing that wasn't ideal. When not in the water, the pickle ball court, pool table and ping pong table kept everyone busy. We have come down to lake Norman every year for the padt 15 years and this was by far the best house we have stayed at to date.

I booked this home in spring 2025 for a January 2026 stay. On January 1, 2026, the property changed management. I was told the new company would honor my original reservation, pricing, early check-in, and late checkout, and that they would contact me on January 2 to confirm payment and details. They never did.On January 3, I logged into VRBO and saw the house listed as available for the same weekend I had booked for a group of 20 women traveling from across the country. I had received no communication from the new management company.To secure the house, I had to rebook through VRBO. I requested early check-in and late checkout again but was charged three times the original amount, meaning my original pricing was not honored. After rebooking, the management company then denied my early check-in and late checkout.I was later told I could only request early check-in within 24 hours of arrival. When I did, I was informed early access still might not be possible because the home had not been cleaned or inspected, as it was a newly acquired property.After significant back-and-forth, I eventually received early check-in and late checkout—but only after paying 3 times more than originally promised.The lack of communication, failure to honor the reservation, and failure to honor pricing was unprofessional and stressful. I would never work with this property management company again and will avoid properties under their management in the future.
