Our group of six (4 adults and 2 children) had a terrific stay utilizing both the Cliff and Overlook Houses while visiting family nearby. The two houses are conveniently located on the same property yet situated far enough apart to ensure privacy. The views of the river and landscape design give the whole property a quiet and peaceful vibe. Both houses are beautifully appointed, comfortable and well supplied. We were able to easily host a dinner for 10 outside on the covered patio at Overlook. Both houses have plenty of deck and patio space to enjoy. There is also access to the river where our children spent every morning exploring. The property owner is very helpful and was instantly responsive to any inquiries, which means a great deal.Bottom line is we look forward to returning and highly recommend both houses.

If you love the experience of being in this part of Oregon on a river and staying in a comfortable home where the owner is incredibly communicative and the home is well stocked, you will love this place. It should be noted that the walk down to the river is a bit steep and if you plan on being active down there, you will want high-quality water shoes just FYI don’t plan on going to the water in your standard flip-flops. It’s not a good idea. It is a beautiful place to experience the north qua river just be prepared that down by the water is a wild scenic area with rocks, creatures, etc..
