Welcome to Riverbend Cabins. Situated along the beautiful Chena River just a short drive to North Pole or Fairbanks city center. You'll enjoy your own private cabin perfect for viewing the Aurora Borealis or taking in the midnight sun!!

At Riverbend's Hoarfrost Cabin you'll enjoy cooking meals in the large well equipped kitchen with all the appliances necessary to share a home cooked feast. A cozy living room with vaulted ceiling and adjoined dining/ kitchen area with seating for 6 at the table. Or if you prefer more casual seating, the bar accommodates 4. The main bath, including a shower, is just off the kitchen.
Upstairs you will find a bedroom with 2 queen beds and is equipped with a projector for that "big screen effect" while watching your movie in bed. The landing at the top of the stairs has breathtaking views out the cathedral windows, perfect for watching the birds and the river.
Off the living room is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom including your private jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.

With the open concept, it is cozy enough for 2, but roomy enough for the whole family.
Nestled right along the beautiful Chena River, enjoy boating, fishing, and kayaking right out your back door!

The North Pole/Fairbanks area offers endless opportunities for your Alaskan adventures!! Winter guests can take a short drive into North Pole and visit "Santa Claus House" and his reindeer. Or head into downtown Fairbanks to the "World Ice Art Championships" to witness one of the most magical events on the planet!
For an unforgettable dog-sledding adventure, drive less than 5 minutes over to "Paws for Adventure"....or for the more adventurous, take a drive up to Chena Hot Springs for a relaxing soak!
Hoarfrost Cabin offers a unique opportunity for our winter visitors to catch a glance of the celestial color spectacular if Lady Aurora decides to make her appearance!!

Summer guests will enjoy a drive to North Pole and Santa Claus House too!! You just can't make this trip without a visit to Santa!! While in North Pole, stop by The Crepery for a bite to eat or take a stroll down one of the many walking/bike paths at Chena Lake Recreation Area. When you are finished sight seeing come back and enjoy the stillness under the Midnight Sun.

We welcome guest's to explore the property!
Take a walk through the trail that leads to the boat launch, cast a line in the water, or just relax alongside the river reading your favorite book!!
