Wailea Elua Village is a premier vacation property located directly on Ulua beach in Wailea and features 152 condos on 24 acres of lush tropical landscapes, luxury accommodations and breath-taking ocean views in a low-rise village atmosphere. Right in the heart of Wailea on Maui's sunny south shore, Wailea Elua meets the sugary white sand of Ulua Beach, one of Wailea's premier snorkeling and dive beaches, and is adjacent to Wailea's award winning Blue Golf Course just west of the Shops at Wailea. Special rates are available at Wailea's golf and tennis facilities for Elua guests. Hotels, spa facilities and award-winning restaurants are within walking distance.

Ideal for families, couples and friendly get-togethers, the beautifully appointed one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums offer spectacular ocean or garden views and luxury amenities. Each vacation condominium has a private lanai, is tastefully furnished, and has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave as well as a washer/dryer, cable TV and air conditioning.

Wailea Elua features two large swimming pools, one overlooking the beach with barbecue facilities for entertaining, a whirlpool spa, paddle tennis/pickleball court. Situated on the mile-and-a-half beach walk which gently meanders along the Wailea Resort area beach and oceanfront, Wailea Elua Village offers the security of a gated access and the convenience of Wailea's many shopping, dining and entertainment choices. Wonderful Return Trip To Maui

Great time in Maui. Property is located close to beach and close to shopping areas and restaurants in Wailea. Condo was very clean and very nice. Lanai was especially nice to have and enjoy sunset views and the beach. Hope to return to Maui soon and would definitely consider staying at this property.

Wailea trip

We had a wonderful time at this condo property. It has all the amenities that you would want. The only thing I would say is that this unit is at the top of the complex up a hill. This might be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Bed in master bedroom seems new but not about the beds in tgd second bedroom. We loved our stay!

Elua is wonderful

I love the Elua property. It is low density with lots of open space. The amenities are excellent. Staff are very friendly. This is a very kid friendly place. Everything is within walking distance- restaurants, beaches, etc. This particular unit was on the main artery for the Elua and somewhat close to the main Wailea road. Consequently, there was more traffic noise than in other locations within the resort. It wasn't that big of a deal. We still had a wonderful time.

Nice place, ideal spot. Very comfortable.

We had a great 5-day stay. Love the location and the layout and amenities in the condo and the complex overall are outstanding. We did a combination of dining out and dining in. It all worked great. Safeway nearby and the kitchen was fully equipped. Two minor drawbacks.. its a bit of a walk to the very beautiful beach., especially upon the return - most of it is up hill. (Might be a problem for those with mobility impairment.) Also, great cable TV but it took us a couple days to figure out how it all worked. Some instructions would have been helpful. ;)

Wailea convenience

Very easy walk over. There was some road noise due to the proximity of the unit to the road but was not an issue for us. Ground floor unit was convenient for the kids to come in and out of the unit. There is only one hot tub which is next to the "cold"pool which was too cold for the kids. They preferred the pool closer to the beach. Would stay in the unit in Elua again.

Rating due to Wailea Rentals' professionalism

The caliber of a vacation rental property manager is shown not when things go well, but when things go awry. In this instance, Wailea Rentals gets our highest praise. We checked in to this property and it was as pictured--nice. But it was horribly musty/moldy smelling. We gave it all night to improve with widows and doors open. It didn't improve. I contacted the manager the next morning. They gave me no trouble and immediately moved us to another unit in the complex. It was even nicer and didn't smell like mold. To make matters worse, we inadvertent left some clothing in a drawer when we moved. Wailea Rentals got them to us the next morning. Rent with Wailea Rentals--they'll take care of you.

Family Elua Stay 2022

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed in a couple different places in Elua Village over the years and 2001 had a beautiful view! The management company provided a lovely gift basket at check in and called right back when I had a question. Elua Village is great and the security team is always super helpful. They provided my dad with a handicap spot right up front so he didn’t have to walk far which was awesome. We love the pools, grounds and walks around the property. The apartment itself needed some updating. The doors were chipping, the carpet was in need of an update, the older outlets wouldn’t hold a plug and the glass dinning room table was very unstable (almost tipped a couple times). The patio also gets dirty so we would recommend having shoes on out there. Some additional dishes and utensils in the kitchen would be nice as well. It’s also unfortunate when you pay so much and stay over a week that only two extra rolls of toilet paper, and 1 roll of paper towels are provided. Other management companies we have used provide this. Overall, we were still in paradise and the apartment provided a wonderful stay.

View of the water was great and location within the community was fantastic providing convenient access to the main road to easily walk to shops at Waile and our favorite island market.

Elua Village is ideal for family vacations!

Our family group of two children and their parents and grandmothers had a wonderful time! Our condo was clean and well-furnished, with a lovely view. We are especially grateful to the Wailea Vacation Rentals management company, which assisted us through several postponements since March 2020. Mahalo.

The property grounds never fail to disappoint. The proximity to the ocean and the path makes this a favourite place to stay. Our family usually stays at various places on the Elua grounds. This condo was fine for the time we stayed in Maui. The only disappointment is the BBQ. Other reviewers have left reviews about the BBQ too. Only one burner worked and we couldn’t use the BBQ to its’ fullest extent. You would think that after all the reviews about it, something would be fixed by now. Other than that, the place was fine.

Nice stay at Elua

We enjoyed our week at Elua. The grounds are second to none and the beach is gorgeous. This is our third rental at Elua. The only reason we are not giving an overall rating of 5 stars is that there are minimal amenities in the condo. Just a few plates and glasses. The kitchen knives were poor, as were the pots and pans. While they were fine and got us through, we’ve rented better stocked condos at Elua in the past. We ran out of toilet paper on day 5. So, a very nice place but don’t go in with high expectations you will be cooking or serving a fancy meal.

Grad trip

My wife and I brought my niece and her friend for a graduation gift. Property is in great shape. This unit is just inside property gate, but feels secluded anyway. Great view of Lanai from the lanai. Spacious rooms. Quick access to Shops of Wailea. Maui is very busy with reopening, book any excursions way in advance. If it’s a first visit buy the book Maui Revealed before you come. Loaded with great info about the island, restaurants, hikes, snorkeling, etc. This was our 4th visit and it was still helpful!!!

Vacation with two older children

We had a great week staying here with our 19 and 17 year old. The property grounds are in a great location (easy walk to Andaz, Marriott, shops at Wailea) and very lovely. The pools are nice with plenty of loungers and beach access is easy. Yes the walk back is uphill a little but you can always drive down part of the way and avoid the hill if you need to. The unit is all we needed. Nice bathrooms and kitchen. Lovely lanai with a great view. Carpeting looks new in the bedrooms. My only complaint is the king mattress. The mattress needs to be replaced and is uncomfortable. The two twins were fine. It was a pleasure working with Sunny to schedule and reschedule this trip (2020) and I would definitely recommend them as well as this area to anyone who needs a spot in Maui. My family doesn’t want to leave!

The kitchen could use some stools at the counter to engage with someone while cooking. The closet doors in the guest room need a good scrubbing. Doors nned to be painted. Carpet was worn out. It would be nice to have paint cans and such boxed and put away rather than stored in the master closet in the open. The grill self start does not work. The condo development shutting down the foot sprinklers to protect against coronvirus was ridiculous. The condo has some nice upgrades but needs some minor touch ups.

Could have been better

The gardens and grounds are gorgeous and the beach down at the end of the walk is fantastic. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled but some other aspects of the unit were worn. 1) grill starting mechanism does not work 2) sliding glass doors worn with poor locks 3) no stools for kitchen island 4) carpet is worn 5) painting needed in several locations 6) second bedroom closet doors caked with dirt and grime To combat coronavirus the sitting area above the beach was closed which only has about 8 seats well spaced apart. Management also shut down the water to rinse sand off your feet when coming back from the beach. Not good for homeowners to have sand rinsed down their drains. There was no communication with the shutting down of the pool. Does a pickle ball court really need to be shut down. Last I looked that would Only include 4 people. The unit could be beautiful after all of the upgrades in the kitchen and bath but fell a bit short.

Excellent property

The young adults enjoyed making protein drinks in the blender, the lanai was lovely and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space. The location was ideal for a short walk to the pool, beach, boardwalk and nearby hotels and markets and shops. Everything was clean and up to date. We felt secure in a gated property with 24 hour security. A beautiful welcome basket awaited us with local fruits and other delicacies when we arrived which was a lovely touch. We would recommend this property to a friend or relative and would love to go back ourselves. Because the property is so beautiful we often picked up food at the nearby International Gourmet Market and brought it back to eat, or Manoli’s and could also walk to Tommy Bahamas Resaurant. A short drive took us to the Makenna area and we also hiked the IAO rainforest one day - about a 30 minute drive. Some of us enjoyed the Maui ocean Centre as well. Another favourite place was the 10 minute drive into Kihei for breakfast. The beach at this resort was good for swimming and snorkeling.
