Waterfront Family Retreat | Sauna & Hot Tub

Welcome to our peaceful waterfront family retreat on the Mississippi River. Set on two private acres in Lanark, this spacious cottage offers calm water views, room to relax and reconnect, and simple wellness amenities including a wood-burning sauna and outdoor hot tub. Designed for families and groups, it’s a place for slow mornings by the water, shared meals, outdoor play, and cozy evenings together in nature.

Seasonal sleeping configuration:

The property sleeps up to 13 guests from May–September, including use of the seasonal bunkie.

During fall and winter months, the main cottage sleeps up to 8 guests.

The fully renovated cottage features an open-concept layout with multiple bedrooms, living spaces, and full bathrooms. Guests have exclusive access to the entire cottage and surrounding property.

Guests have full, private access to the main cottage and outdoor spaces during their stay.

The main cottage accommodates up to 8 guests year-round.

From May to September, a seasonal bunkie is available, increasing total capacity to 13 guests.

There are no shared spaces.

Guests will access the property via a secure lockbox for self check-in. We respect our guests’ privacy and won’t be on site during the stay, but are always available by Airbnb message if questions come up or assistance is needed.

Located 10 minutes outside of Perth Ontario.

Seasonal highlights:

In summer, guests can enjoy the calm walk-in waterfront, dock access, campfires, and river activities including kayaks and canoes. Outdoor amenities also include a BBQ, lawn games, and open green space for families to relax and play.

In winter, guests can enjoy cozy fires, winter campfires, nearby trails, and seasonal attractions in the area.

Seasonal bunkies & amenities:

From May to September, guests have access to two seasonal bunkies (a sleeping bunkie and a flex games bunkie), as well as the wood-burning sauna and outdoor hot tub. These amenities are not available outside of the summer season.
