Courtney’s place was perfect for our 5 night get away in March. The lake view was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunset almost every night from the covered patio. Our border collies loved the large fenced in yard and so did our grand baby. The home has everything we needed and it was clean and very comfy. Plenty of room for our family. It is convenient to the town center and not a long drive to grocery stores. The beds were very comfy! We would definitely stay again! Courtney was a fabulous host and responded quickly when we had a question.

The house was very nice. The doc area very clean and nice. The back porch was a mess from the nearby pecan tree droppings. We could find no room or dustpan in the house to clean up the back porch with, so we made do with a whisk broom that I had in my truck and got the furniture and floor cleaned up so we could enjoy the back porch. A small gazebo down near the water was covered in Vines. I cut them best that I could and move them out of the way so we could sit down there for a bit. We caught a fish or two from the dock and wanted to wash her hands but found there was no water at the dock spigots. We had to be very careful with the refrigerator. When you shut the refrigerator door the freezer door would come open half an inch. Also one of the cabinet doors were missing a few screws and was near to falling off. No big deal, I tightened them up. Overall our stay was very nice and I would rent the place again if I had the opportunity. The owner was quite responsive to any problems that we had, although I do not like to call and bother the property owner unless it's very very important.

For future visits, there is a leaf blower in the closet behind the sofa to help with the pecan tree debris. You’re correct there’s no water at the dock, and we’ve taken care of the refrigerator and cabinet door—thank you for pointing those out. We’d love to host you again anytime!

Our stay was great! 2 infants, 2 big kids, 2 toddlers and 5 adults. Antique house with beautiful decor throughout. Hot showers for everyone! Beds comfortable. Dock short walk through fenced in yard- perfect for our boat. Trailer parked in the yard with space for 3 cars. There are other reviews of this home through another site- but wanted to leave the remarks here for VRBO users to find! Courtney was very quick to respond for any and all questions. Great patio. Kitchen with all the basics you need! Would definitely stay here again. Oh, and lots of big TVs haha! I would say the only thing you may not rely on is super fast internet for work purposes- but we did not come to do that! And it was great for what we needed: entertaining the kiddos at night. Thanks for the stay!
