We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing by the lake. The location was great, the views were amazing, and everything was exactly as described. We had such a good experience that we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great lake getaway.

We had everything we needed and more. The layout of the home was wonderful. The backside of the house was all windows overlooking the river with a huge back deck! We spent our entire time there outside. It was perfect for our family!

What a great house! Stayed here with 15 ladies with plenty of room. Moved the mattresses off the top bunks to the sun room. The hot tub was outstanding with the view. Ladies said it was the best house we have stayed in on our annual hiking trip. We are ready to come back next year!

We went over for Christmas with all of our children and grandchildren for 3 days . The house was absolutely amazing and the views were perfect!!! The hot tub was definitely an added bonus!!

This house is amazing - the room set-up works well for a large group. Plenty of space to relax and unwind and very quiet. The view of Tim's Ford Lake is amazing - sunsets are beautiful! And downtown Winchester is super close; our favorite restaurant is Filo's Tavern.We had to call for maintenance and Rob showed up within 30 mins. Customer service is amazing. Overall one of the best rental properties I have stayed at.

This is the second time we have rented this lake house for a 3-day weekend. As far as the location goes, pretty much unbeatable. Dock access and waterfront views are both a dream. House was super clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. We love the indoor and outdoor eating areas, and ample seating in the living area. We will be back, and highly recommend this place.

Great stay

This lake house was everything we hoped for and more! You truly can’t beat the location — literally steps from the water with stunning views from sunrise to sunset. We spent our days swimming, boating and relaxing on the deck with coffee in the morning and wine at night. The house itself was spotless,  decorated like your favorite grandparents lake house, and stocked with everything we needed for a cozy stay. Peaceful, private, and picture-perfect — we didn’t want to leave. Already planning our next trip back! Highly recommend!

Hospitality

Freedom Property Management is...different...in the BEST way! From the time you inquire about a property until you check out they are responsive, professional, polite and offer a level of hospitality not even considered through other management companies including a well stocked rental and even mints on the pillows. I haven't experienced this level of customer service from a management company maybe ever. And the house was great. Very roomy, well stocked with good towels and soft sheets and everything we needed in the kitchen. The view, especially the sunsets, were amazing. Great location close to Winchester for groceries and restaurants, and close to the marina too.

Lake Time Getaway

It was an amazing stay! Everything that we expected and more. The pictures really don't do it justice. We had a great time on the dock! Paddleboards and kayaks were a great addition. The kids rode them completely across the lake and went exploring on an island with family members. We were able to fish, lots of catch and release blue gill which is very exciting for the kids, even a few catfish at night! The lily pad was perfect for lounging in the water and enjoying the waves of the boats. More than enough beach towels for the lake provided. There were so many board games for ALL ages, which was a pleasant surprise. The arcade games and foosball added in a perfect place for some friendly competition. I also loved seeing the lake dance on the ceiling all over the house as the sun was beginning to set in the evening. Oh, and the hot tub! Such a nice location to watch the water nightlife and soak your troubles away. Clean, well kept, and easy to cover/uncover! We did note that this is a fun, high traffic area of the lake! You are very close to the marina and restaurant, boat rentals etc. We quite enjoyed it, waving to all the lake goers, and did notice that the traffic really decreased thru the week days versus the weekend, should that help you decide what days you would rather book. Concerning car traffic, this is a quiet, coulda sac, with very little to no traffic! We will definitely be going back. Thank you for the opportunity!

We had an amazing trip, and this was a gorgeous property. The views were stunning and the proximity to the water was fantastic. Beds were cozy and the layout of the house was great for a large family or gathering of friends. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock. I will highly recommend bringing all your fenders if docking a boat as this area can get a bit rocky on a busy weekend. Overall, one of favorite lake stays. Thank you to our gracious hosts.
