After a 13 hour long drive to Dallas, the entrance lock was not working and we had to call for the property manager (I found out later she was the owner) to bring a key. It seams this was not only our experience but the people before us as well. This property is listed to sleep 10 and up to 13 people; there were only 6 very thin falling apart towels and no soap in the bathrooms. She was nice to order some thru Amazon that we got 2 days later, but my family had already left that night to get some. The dryer door when you try opening it, it stays in your hand. The dishwasher door has to be pulled to the side in order to close. The front and back yard looks like it has not been mowed since last year and the fence is falling apart. (No safe at all for our dog to stay in the yard) Not to mention the insane amount of bugs that welcome you in the front entrance. Definitely not the place to stay if you are looking for a home away from home. We decided to ride out our stay, just because we had no place to go with our dog, we are exhausted from a long trip and we had paid for this house already. The lady is a very nice lady trying to accommodate us but honestly, never again. I later looked at the reviews, there was only 1 from January and it was rated low. I guess it was our fault for overlooking this.Sincerely, family of 7
